Oren Dover Thabks for the comment. I was heel and toeing on down shift in many of the corners. Hope that helps?

Thanks, it's a 1991 C2. Still has 3.6 but runs on Motec, rebuilt gearbox (standard gearing) with LSD. KW Clubsport suspension, with polybush. Big black calipers on front with Pagid RS29 pads all-round. No roll cage, but Recaro with harness bar, full interior otherwise retained along with air-con and sunroof.

It looks so planted! I have a 997.2 Targa 4S but fancy a change. I like track days too. Deciding whether to go back a bit to a 997.1 GT3 or back further to a 964 C2. Have you driven 997s on track too? Apart from out and out top speed, how does it compare with your suspension set up?

Paul Miller Sorry for the delay in replying. Not driven a 997 on track. Also occasionally use my 996t, but that’s not anywhere near as much fun as the 964 which is lighter and more responsive.
