Yes, very impressive display. Of course, "our" layout looks terrific!! Fairlies are running so well. Have to admit, that Lego Hush-Hush was quite something, too.
@ThatModelRailwayGuy2 жыл бұрын
The Fairlie was a little workhorse all weekend! We didn't run much else to be honest because it performed so well and it caught a lot of people's attention because it looks so unusual. The LEGO Hush Hush was fantastic too - our display was back to back with theirs so when I saw it was out on the layout I hurried round to get some footage of it running. Thanks for watching 😃

So awesome to see the 009 layout up and running for people at the exhibition. You should be very proud of your work :)

Having made a few of these exhibition videos now it was very bizarre to include my own layout in one! Everyone seemed to love Gofod Tynn though and I barely stopped talking about it all weekend. Thanks for watching 😃

Seem to recall seeing the Lyme Regis branch model a few years ago. Having travelled by train across Cannington Viaduct @6.55 (the first to be constructed using an ariel ropeway) I've walked across it many times in the decades since! The 'working' tamper @5.40 is a model I've not seen before - rather nice! Enjoyable video including some eclectic layouts - thank you for sharing! 🙂
@ThatModelRailwayGuy2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was across from that layout all weekend and somehow I still managed to miss a train crossing over the viaduct! 😅The tamper model was very good too - a bit mesmerising in someways. Thanks for watching 👍

Ah yes, that could be a slight issue! The Thomas display was great and apparently Mike O'Donnell was there at one point too - I'm gutted I missed him 😢 Thanks for watching 👍

A great and interesting range of model railways - something for everyone. Especially pleased to see Gofod Tynn complete, running and looking so so very impressive and the 009 locos look so at home. It really came together well and I am sure must have gone down well at the exhibition.
@ThatModelRailwayGuy2 жыл бұрын
There really was a great range of layouts to see! Gofod Tynn was one of only two 009 layouts (the other being a sci-fi Warhammer based scene!) so it was definitely something a little bit different. We were in a great position too very near the entrance, so it got a lot of stopping to take a look and I basically didn't stop talking to people about it all weekend. As far as I'm concerned it was a huge success for my very first show as an exhibitor and Gofod Tynn did itself proud! Thanks for watching Nigel 🤩

Some awsome layouts there. Nice to see your 009 gauge on view for everyone to see. I only hope that one day mine will look as good as some of those.

Thanks Sam, it was definitely nice to be included in such a line up of great layouts! If you've watched the videos about how I made Gofod Tynn you'll know there's nothing really tricky involved, it's all about taking the time to break things down step by step! Best of luck with your own layout and thanks for watching 😃

It was certainly very busy all weekend! I think everyone was a little taken aback by how popular the show was given this was only it's second year. It was a pleasure to meet you and talk about the layout too - I believe all the photos we're on my Instagram stories over the weekend but they'll probably get posted to Facebook too when I have a chance. Thanks Adam, yeah I was amazed with the overhead lines and also the complex track work on some of layouts too! It was nice to have Gofod Tynn there too as it was something a bit different which I think a lot of people appreciated. Thanks for watching 😃

It was good to see you with your railway in a suitcase on Saturday. I’d have liked more of a chat, but you’d been cornered. All the best, Nigel (my favourite was the blue lit winter scene layout, what was your favourite ?)
@ThatModelRailwayGuy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Nigel! It was great to meet you, albeit briefly! It was fantastic how enthusiastic everyone was about the layout and so hopefully it might make some more appearances in the future. Personally my favourite layout was Paystow, I always enjoy seeing 0 Gauge stuff at exhibitions! Thanks for watching 😃

Awesome!!!! Where can I find the passenger cars seen in the video at the 1:47 time mark?? I am running an HO scale.
@ThatModelRailwayGuy2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, to me they look like they might have been either kit built/kitbashed or made from scratch in someway. I don't recognise them as anything available on the market RTR. Hornby and Hattons do have their own ranges of pre-grouping 4 wheeled coaches though, so those might be worth taking a look at. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃
