I don't think a civilization that advanced would bother setting up a light show like that other than to study how the said species react to fear. If the civilization just wanted to capture the planet in a pristine state and enslave the people, they could attempt to knock out most electronic equipment with EMP and deploy ground forces that are more advanced and more numerous than anything we currently have.

I still have trouble recomciling zordar as evil tyrant when really (until the end of epizode 25) hes nothing more then a dupe who is being played by invidia dire and gorce and its those idiots machinations that help desslock see hes fighting on the side of people who have no honor

@@jamesxiaolong2199 The entire Star Wars universe doesn't stand a chance period. Considering the actual weapons the Star Wars universe uses have a max range of 5 kilometers before they do nothing, and the Relentless-class (what is now called Karakulum) are at least the same size if not bigger than a regular Star Destroyer and can wipe out entire fleets on their own. Star Wars only stands a chance if they surrender in the first 5 seconds.

Its from the Space Battleship Yamato CD,entitled, YAMATO - I Adore The Eternity Of Love,aka Disco Yamato. This CD also includes the disco versions of Space Battleship Yamato and the Desler (Desslok) Attack Theme heard on STAR BLAZERS. I know,because I bought that CD in Japan.

Death Star = Able to destroy planet after 24 hour charge period. White Comet = Rams planets to death.

The wave motion gun only took the city empire’s comet shield out, and since the Death Star is of a comparable power level to the WMG I think it is safe to assume the city would only lose the shield. The Death Star would have to recharge while the city bombards the hell out of it. Without the shield the city might be destroyed, but it’s speed will probably keep the Death Star from locking on to it.The 2202 version would destroy the Death Star 99/100.

@@thesparduck117 The WMG is a moon buster, the Death star is 1000x more powerful. Oneshot away! 2202 remake Ark of destruction would laugh at the deathstar and ram it. The ark of destruction would make Rogal Dorn Jealous of its sheer capability to fortify space LOL.

Addison Chow I’m not sure the Death Star is anywhere close to 1000x more powerful than the wave motion gun, realistically I only see the Death Star destroying the comet city if it’s comet shield is already gone.
