Man I remember playing this game when I was little I really enjoyed it but damn I never finished it lmao. I left off at the part where you have to mine for some orange material i don’t remember but it was for rocket fuel. I’m sure once I collected enough I would’ve been able to go back home. I remember being stuck at the shuttle cockpit in the beginning for a long time because they told me not to push the red button and I didn’t. And I refused to push it because I would be disobeying. But eventually I figured the devs wanted me to press the button and then I grinder the hell out of the game

You're one of the few reviewers I have any respect for anymore.
@eileenmilligan96736 жыл бұрын
17:14 You honestly should have picked the bottom option. It's like the developers were aware that the rust bucket was useless and annoying. Is there a dialogue option in the epilogue where the Kid goes "Thanks Space Camp. Thanks for giving me the warning to never apply for becoming an astronaut EVER AGAIN!" or something like that?
@SporkSlayer Жыл бұрын
I know this comment is 5 years old, but I'm only playing this game now and at least one person will see this in the future. When you pick that option, the robot is sad for a bit, but then there is a dialog box that you are forced to pick that essentially says "Just kidding, lol"

It's such a shame that she broke up with you, I'm sorry DLJ... at least you got this review done so the game can finally be put out of its misery! I've got a recommendation for you: when I was younger, my brother and I had Up: The Game for our Wii. Most of our favorite memories from the game come not from the gameplay, but rather the hilarious glitches and fails that ran rampant through the game. There was also a fun multiplayer mode that had some problems of its own, but we'd always play it when friends came over. I'd love to see you try it out, it can't be that sought after these days... Thanks so much for your excellent content!

0:15 Oh man, there's so much to take in. You found a copy of the overly rare _Devil's Third_ locally? There's a SECOND Titanic game on the Wii? Why on earth is there a licensed SeaWorld game on the Gamecube? Does that copy of _Rodea the sky Soldier_ have the bonus disc, or is it just the gimped Wii U version? I wonder how decisive that _Indiana Jones_ video will end up being, assuming it sees the light of day. 2018's going to be a good year for this channel.
@Darklordjadow16 жыл бұрын
Pimpeaux I bought Devil's Third on ebay for something like 40 dollars. Yes, there's a second Titanic Wii game I do not know why there's a licensed Seaworld game I have been wanting to get back to my N64 roots, so Indianna Jones will definitely see the light if day. And that copy of Rodea has two discs inside it: one for the Wii U and one for the Wii. I have no idea what the deal with that is.
@Pimpeaux6 жыл бұрын
Short story as to why Rodea was shipped like that: The game was made by former employees of Sonic Team with the original Wii in mind. The game was completely done by 2011, but the game's publishing team wanted a 3DS version of the game to coincide with its release, so the game was delayed until further notice. They tinkered around with the 3DS port of the game for ages, to the point where it was no longer viable to release it on the original Wii, so they took what work had been done with the 3DS game, and ported it over to the Wii U. 4 years, and I'm sure many headaches, after the game was supposed to come out, the Wii U port of the 3DS port of the Wii game limped its way onto store shelves. Presumably because everyone involved felt empathetic about screwing over the original game's vision, they packed all first print run copies of the game with the original Wii version in tact. In essence, I love the Wii version of the game, and I like to pretend the Wii U version doesn't exist. Also, good luck on Indiana Jones. As if the Blockbuster sticker wasn't enough of a red flag, you're going to need it.
@Darklordjadow16 жыл бұрын
Pimpeaux That is deeply fascinating and so messed up. I will do Rodea next. Started the Wii version this morning and it's fantastic; can't wait to see how the Wii U cocks it up.

Oh it's quite simple: she ran off to Canada for over a month to help babysit her sister's kids (during which time she slowly stopped texting me and refused to do any phone calls), while repeatedly refusing to come visit me for one single weekend to meet anybody in my family; despite my repeated pleas for how important it was to me; at one point yelling about how I didn't understand "why she couldn't go." She was going to go to my best friend's wedding to meet my friends and parents only to bail on me at the last minute. And then, after bailing on absolutely any commitments that were important to me, she demanded a Promise Ring. Important context here is that she lived about 4 and a half hours away from me, but we found a train that would take her from her backyard to mine. And even though she was psyched when we found it, she utterly refused to ever use it.

This game might be still beat out Air Control or Big Rigs though, if only because it’s functional and doesn’t crash every 5 minutes. Also Jadow, have you thought about getting a PS2 or Xbox? Just a question I had considering the Xbox often had the best versions of multi-platform games during the PS2/GC/Xbox era (Enter the Matrix can actually run at 1080i on the Xbox if you got the HD AV pack hooked up to it), and the PS2 had some cool exclusive titles.
@Darklordjadow16 жыл бұрын
LudicrousFool79 I haven't really thought about it but only because I feel I should get a PS3 or XBox 360 first. I buy that excuse for NES games, when game design was a new field and the tech was primitive- or for Nintendo 64 and Playstation 1 games where the industry was still figuring out 3D. But this was on the Wii, which had several generations of hardware and decades of game design behind it. They were not limited by their time on a game about picking up rocks!
