I think the inability to kill/KO enemies is likely a studio mandate, similar to Last Action Hero. Where they wanted to tone down the violence to reach a broader market. Both of which I find ironic, since Last Action Hero was meant to be a satire of 80's action flicks, and Catwoman is known for her rather Stripperiffic attire (even in the movie its game is based on), and even if it wasn't the case, both tie-in games were still rushed hack jobs that needed a rewrite on the drawing board.

This game has a really weird combat system, that being said if anyone is wondering if there is is any other games that implement the flick analogue stick in the direction desired to attack here's another example...Too Human, it's not better than this but still irritating. That being said an example of where it actually works is dead island, where you can use the left stick to swing weapons and crack zombies heads open!! And no you're not reading into the game to deeply, the fact that hitting enemies doesn't kill them is odd, it's like oh isn't that cute she's fighting back, and looking like a little kitty all dressed in her slutty skin tight catsuit...but definitely not getting anywhere, really F-ed up in my opinion!!

the jumps were EXTREMELY tedious in the PS2 version of the game also. But really all the jumps were IMPOSSIBLE so just forget everything you knew as a platform gamer. You had to swing like an acrobat on the poles for a longer time to jump farther which nothing tells you this so it took me forever to figure that out. And the in game story makes NO SINCE AT ALL unless you watched the movie.

from what i can remember didn't Warner intend to put Halle Berry in a James Bond spin off movie ? but the 007 movie the spin off was meant to spin off from wasn't great so the spin off didn't get spun off. which left Warner owing Halle Berry a movie......so they made Catwoman. makes u wonder if Warner blamed Halle for the failure of the Bond movie & made Catwoman to take the piss. in 2018 they are talking of a Joker movie so who knows maybe us lucky, lucky movie goers will get another Catwoman movie too. Steve Addams I know her character in Die Another Day was supposed to spin off into her own movie, but Die Another Day sucked and that plan was scrapped. I don't know if that had any impact on Catwoman though; they were trying to get a Catwoman movie going since Batman Returns' release and it got stuck in development hell.

+shnick1990 Batman and Robin has a few good story threads (Mr. Freeze in general, Batman having to learn to work with partners, Batman dealing with the fact that Alfred will die at some point) that are struggling for breath under corporate-mandated toy licenses. It has about as many problems as Batman Returns does, but at the end of the day I have more fun watching it than Batman Returns. Both movies have a ton of plot holes and truly stupid story developments, but Batman and Robin does have a bit of a sense of fun to it that I enjoy.
