Space Elevator Tunnel Run with Darkstar

The SR-72 Darkstar from the latest DLC is insanely fast. Many attempts to fly through the tunnel at full speed failed, but I decided to release this video anyway. Albeit at a much lower speed, which even the X-02S and MiG-31B can achieve.

@@Trainboy1EJR That plane can go up to 3000+ Modified This can go up to 5000+ Stock. Even if you have pinpoint reaction time, the relatively low mobility on the Darkstar cannot turn tunnel to tunnel while in a tight space because you'll probably end up crashing at the tunnel's walls. Maybe mods would help but...cmon, 5000?

Exactly as said above. We aren't talking about a few seconds faster, the darkstar is twice as fast if we allow for mods. Slightly under double stock. Reaction time for the average human is half a second. The truly skilled can pull off maybe a quarter of a second. With muscle memory, you can likely cut it in half again, but you'll hit an upper limit regardless. Add to it the darkstar handles like a brick with wings. Granted, the handling does not change from cruise speed to max speed.

@@absolutedelta4478 have you ever seen anyone play Trackmania or Wipeout (Zone Mode). The question really becomes is it possible using TAS at 0.5x gameplay speed. If it can be done with the games physics then you can be sure someone will do it eventually. Don’t forget about frame-perfect combos in fighting games, it’s a requirement for tournament competition, even though I can’t do it.

They can still hit the darkstar, but it's possible to evade them without diving into the clouds

In AC3, when you pass 4000 speed, the camera starts vibrating violently, I wish they bring back that feature, this could be posible the fastest Aircraft in the series, but I really never feel that "speed" in any of the AC games, except 3 of course

Reminds me of the F4. It eventually was fast enough that it could shoot itself with it's own bullets because it kept outrunning them. This does it with its own missiles. Lovely

Man this plane is fun to fly. I don't even care that you aren't able to fly at top speed most of the time because the maps are too small for it, going fast and firing 4 pulse lasers at once and ripping through enemy planes like wet tissue paper is fun AF. Stock, this plane can reach Mach 5. It can't go faster than that because the game CAPS you at that speed. The physics probably can't handle a plane going at that speed, and the maps are too small to really flex the Darkstar's muscles. If you were going at Mach 10, you'd pass through the biggest maps in the game in less than 3 seconds. And that's being generous. Mach 10 is no joke guys.

The Darkstar is a deadringer for the future that is to become the UL-Aurora. Combined with it's weaponry and it's Z.O.E. Paintscheme, it screams one step closer to NEMO and Sublimation ~

Well, the Mig 31 at top speed has been done once or twice, but that plane is half as fast as the darkstar. Reaction times will need to be perfect, something all humans are terrible at (about a half second). Running the tunnel likely hundreds if not thousands of times to get muscle memory perfect. Even then I doubt it will be done. Maybe.

Being ace combat has been really the only flying focused game available on consoles I love the game and have played them since Air combat original on Ps1, I just wish the environments were more to scale, more like Grand theft auto and be able to take off and land in the free world environments. If you take some of these fighters you fly here and stood them up next to some of the buildings in this game the jet is taller than buildings and wider than rivers and valleys. Maybe one day we may get a real flight Sim like Dcs or something for console, but Props on going thru that tunnel like that not an easy task.

The dark star seems to be more closely related and is inspired by the Sr-72. Yes it is shorter, but doesn't mean it was gonna be weaker than the Sr-71

It doesn't need to connect to the ground it can be suspended in the upper atmosphere halfway in halfway out like a skyhook for ai opperated unmanned planes to dock and unload its much more cost effective then rockets use high atmosphere planes and a magnetic landing platform like of a naval carrier ship

Guided bombs, PLSL and SASM i think Used PLSL with default gun means Quad PLSL which is insane abomination for cleaning maps or sniping enemy bosses that flies towards you

@@guts-141 I tested it's weapons I reckon it needs to buffed up as the damage from the Pulse lasers are weak, but what's worse is the SASM's require and urgent buff up as it's damage is way weaker than its supposed to be as it is supposed to be 1 hit ko, if it hits you directly or if you get caught in the blast radius.

The Mig 31 can easily beat the drone to the elevator. Though it requires 3000+ the entire way there. It's been done a couple times now. I just don't see the Darkstar going all out the entire stretch. You might be able to beat the closing hanger at top speed on entry however. The Mig 31 can get close.
