Thanks Dakao and welcome. I've followed Wellington6012 for a long time and this is a fun but difficult scenario, i hope i can live up to the challenge !

@@MozoTyce1 Just a reminder, Ion thrusters work in space and they use ships power... So if you can get a few solar panels then that should give you the power you need to stay alive and also on the move..

Today I learned that Mozo is making SE vids again. So Happy to see and that you are playing Sir Wellington6012 scenario. This was a hard grind at start but once in motion it improved. Also i learnt today that you can use build planner to withdraw from freight containers

just to let you know... you have enough suit power to do a gravity drop on to mars 41km turn your lights on at the surface drill a hole fill your bag at 4k liters settings turn your lights off and jetpack back to your ship with about 20% power left in your suit...

basically what i just told you was you can easily travel 100km on one suit charge round about... with only you using your suit to breath... you can go a really long ways in just your suit at 110m/s

@@MozoTyce1 i was more so just telling a story of to how i know you can travel that far on just suit power... 110m/s propelled by gravity and 110m/s with dampeners off is the same speed lol

@@angelusmortis3256 Ah i see, it is a shame that the game has speed limits at all but they are needed to allow the game to do all the calculations necessary for collision and positioning. I have used mods in other games to increase the limit but then i see problems like flying through blocks etc.

YAY! Another SE series. Any plans for little cut-scenes like with 'Naked on Europa'? They added a unique twist to the playthrough. Reminder that you can double-layer solar panels and still get full output. That will save on space used til you progress beyond their need.

I don't have any plans for the RP element in this one sorry. I know they gave that extra unique'ness but it would be difficult to incorporate it here.

what about a repair contract but just keep the broken ship? sure you'd take a rep hit, but you are building up rep with the search contracts. (I see you are well beyond this point now.) I am really enjoying your journey so far.

Problem is with repair contract you need to have (be able to make) the required components and you don't know what you're gonna need until you accept the contract. Otherwise yes, it might be a way to 'get stuff' Glad you're enjoying the series, thanks for the comment Nicki 👍

I believe the challenge says no digging for rocks on encountered spawned asteroids but I don't think it said anything about digging tunnels is the drills have two modes the one that digs tunnels and then the one that actually gives you rocks I know I'm on console end left trigger that just Diggs in and makes tunnels and I believe that should be within the rules of not getting any rocks from asteroids

Yup i think that would be fine, as long as you're not 'mining', digging through rock would be similar to grinding through blocks instead of using a door.

My public use survival kit is not braking down scrap, any thoughts?

Hi Joe and thanks for subscribing. If you're not seeing the tab on the right hand side for scrap it's most likely the 'Aww Scrap' mod hasn't loaded. Check your mod list before you load the game and make sure the mods are in the same order as mine. New game assets need to be towards the top of the list. Hope that helps 🙂

@@MozoTyce1 I am seeing the tabs, and the mod list was like yours and I tried move Aww mods to the top of the list. I tried playing without and plaining on making a basic assembler but to see if that would work but getting unscraped tubs is impossible.

@@ToucheTurtle01 So the survival kit has the 'scrap' tab and you've queued up a load of each to be processed yes ? Then dumping all your component scrap into it should start processing. It works just like dumping stone in, you've got to queue up the gravel to get the processing started.
