Perfect for what I'm going to need. Plans to build a warship with advanced weapons, using normal turrets as counter-measures only. An engagement range of over 1km is my hope, so the turret-based guidance system will be perfect. If detection range on the turret is high enough, then I can just fire close and hope the turret confirms lock, then it's almost a guaranteed hit.

What about initial GPS, then turret guided? That would be the most long-range missile.

I know this is a old script and all but it's the only one I've found that has the option for the "Lock-on via GPS" mode. now I've spent 3 hours trying to get it to work and though a lot of issues were my own oversight I've fixed everything and it still wont track. the missile just flies straight forward as if it's not guided at all

Can I get by with just use a camera on my ship to track the target instead of putting cameras on missile to cut down on the number of ray casts made? Would it be possible to use a laser antenna instead of a camera so you can get very precise targeting?

Guardian its supposed to be used with other scripts, example Elfi Wolfie' script that scans for targets and then passes GPS to my script for launch and lock on. Also can use with BlueG radar, or studd like that.

Akarraju Min ah ok I see now. Was wondering because I have managed 10 km shots using tv guided but have never had such success with lock ons,(due to the raycasting range limitations). Its good to know though that their are other methods to be used!

Must be some setup issue. You can add a antenna to see status output. This allows you to know if you have really locked on to enemy. You need to have cameras on Missile or Launching Ship, depending on your mode.
