Space Ex-Husband takes 9999 damage. (Omori)

In case you didn't know, Run 'N' Gun does a lot of damage. However, I haven't yet seen the Kel nuke combo on a furious opponent. The emotion advantage multiplier between happy and angry normally is 1.5x the normal damage, however against a furious opponent it's 2.5x the damage. It's not easily accessible though, since Ex-Husband, Ex-Boyfriend, and Snaley are the only enemies who can feel furious.
For equipment, I used Basketball and Cough Mask over Chicken Ball, because they still bring Kel's speed high enough to cap it, while giving a high chance to crit (about 64% while happy). Ecstatic would nearly guarantee it, but I got lucky here.
I also provided a calculation of the damage done to SXH with all the modifiers:
To calculate Kel's speed:
Kel's base speed: 240
Happy: x1.25
Coffee: x4
Kel's speed: Caps at 999.
To calculate Run 'N' Gun's base damage:
Kel's speed: 999
Run 'N' Gun modifier: x1.5
SXH's DEF: 15
Run 'N' Gun damage: ~1,484 damage.
Other modifiers:
Run 'N' Gun damage: ~1,484
Flex: x2.5
Happy vs Furious: x2.5
Crit: x1.5
20% damage variance: Between x0.8 and x1.2
With modifiers: Between 11,127 and 16,690 damage.
And, of course, since damage caps at 9999, it only shows as such.

one time i was replaying omori and i was at this boss fight and i figured id get him to the 3rd stage emotions everytime he can for an extra challenge. so i made sxh furious and unfortunately my party was all depressed/miserable from sxh. this guy sang and reverse nuked me

I believe enemies only take Angry damage rather than Furious damage (Or at least Space Boyfriend does). Does redoing the math still add up to the damage cap? Doing the math myself with just 16,000, it reaches 9,600, so with the extra 690 damage or factors i've forgotten about, it should still be able to reach 9999. Or, am I completely wrong and it's only an exception for Space Boyfriend, Sweetheart, and Unbread twins? Or is the wiki wrong about their weaknesses being the same as Angry, Happy, and Sad respectively?

I'm pretty sure SXH and Snaley use the same emotion effects as the player characters but the other bosses don't. I tried the math with the Angry damage multiplier and it averages 8429 which is theoretically enough to be raised to 9999 but this is extremely unlikely. With glitches you can easily hit 9999 damage by putting Flex and Vertigo on the same character.

Though this doesn’t hold as much water, given luck could be on my side, this clip was my first attempt. But what we all seem to agree on is that, with a 1.5x emotion multiplier, I’d have to roll high to do max damage, unlike my math in the description that guarantees it. The idea that enemies only feel first tier emotion damage does interest me. A while back I was messing around with the console mod, and I fought a Faraway boss that could feel third tier emotions. Release Energy did 2500 damage, unlike Ex-Boyfriend/Sweetheart/Unbread Twins which take 1500. Maybe fixed damage works like any other damage (see Perfectheart’s sing), but the three enemies who fix to an emotion are different because it’s a static multiplier. And perhaps that also applies to any type of damage, _which would explain my attempt to nuke Ex-Boyfriend not doing the damage I expected._ I’ll have to test this though, I plan to see how RE and Suffocate affect Snaley and Ex-Husband. Edit: I tested Release Energy and Suffocate on Snaley and Ex-Husband. As I expected, when both of them were manic, a sad Omori did 2.5x the damage.

@@HonkG.Womblatin ...barely understood the comment, sooo... It doesn't work like Pokemon where it could be a 4x weakness or 6x weakness from the emotions. No matter how high of a tier of emotion you have, on the offensive end, it doesn't matter. Having Ecstatic will do just as much as Happy would to an Angry enemy. Now, if a Furious enemy fought a Happy enemy, they would take as much damage from Happy as they would from Ecstatic, that being a lot. However the emotion bosses just have the same weaknesses as Angry, Happy, and Sad no matter how high their tier of emotion is. I wanted to know if this was the case for Space Ex-Husband.

@@kirbyfreakyt4695 space-ex husband doesn't have protection from 2nd tier and 3rd tier which makes it so they actually get less defense when he's furious or maybe it's a mod
