Greetings people, I'm Shin the author of this story. I am honored to have my story featured in Magnetar and am grateful for any and all who listen. Any critiques and feedback is welcome as it helps me become a better creative writer. Thank you and have a great week!!✋ EDIT: PLEASE READ!! Part of me wishes I didn’t have to make this statement, but it’s come to my attention that the story I wrote being narrated above was stolen by an unknown Reddit user, while most is correct some words and phrases I didn’t write were added in towards the end! The Reddit user also changed half the title. I’ve spoken with Magnetar on this matter and I want to clarify to everyone that this is NOT Magnetars fault!! My original manuscript was taken and edited by a Reddit user. I just want to clear things up on my end as I do not wish to take credit for things I did not write, nor do I condone plagiarism of any kind. I am utterly grateful for the opportunity of Magnetar featuring my work on his channel, but I wished to get this out there to not only protect my name, but clear things up on my end. If you want to find the original manuscript you can find it at Creepypasta.com under a similar title. Thank you all.

Everyone, here is a link to the original and un-altered version written by Shin: www.creepypasta.com/i-was-the-first-human-to-walk-on-venus-something-deadly-is-here/ I am horrified that this happened. Shin contacted me months ago about his work, having only recently started to record it I Googled the title because I had lost the email he originally sent. I found the version here (the true version) www.creepypasta.com/i-was-the-first-human-to-walk-on-venus-something-deadly-is-here. and another version on Reddit that was more recent and had some edits, like to the title. I WRONGFULLY assumed it was just an updated version of the original story posted by the original author. That was not the case. I apologize to Shin. I should have confirmed which version to use - that would have allowed us to catch this much sooner. I encourage everyone to check out the original non-plagarized version, www.creepypasta.com/i-was-the-first-human-to-walk-on-venus-something-deadly-is-here/

Great high quality narration. I'll sub. I don't really see why anyone would be surprised by life being on Venus. It's in the habitable zone and is thought to of been very much like Earth at one point and we have creatures living in insane environments here on our own planet. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Venus had life that was able to evolve with the environment and survive it's current state.

That was quite an engaging story. There was enough detail to get my mind working on fleshing it out, and there was enough left unsaid to think about after. The main thing that I am pondering is, if "they" have created a foothold in the minds of humanity, did they require close contact to do so. And what is their ultimate goal. They want us to believe that they are majestic and beautiful, for what purpose? I've got some childhoods end vibes ruminating in the back of my brain.

Timestamp ~32:20 ...I was able to enjoy it... and then had to pause. Wouldn't corporate spaceflight DEMAND always-on cameras and bio-monitoring? The presence of something seen outside the window would be recorded. Everything would be documented. Ah well. I feel like I missed something here. They took a bunch of pictures of the creature and hellscapes and nobody on Earth asked about the creature in the photos? Why would these astronauts be so celebrated for years for this and yet nobody else ever took another trip out to Venus and find out for themselves that it's a literal hellhole complete with demons? Wouldn't they expose these astronauts as liars that put other space travelers in major danger if they decided to land on Venus as well?

Good, but few details doesn’t make much sense. What author is describing is basically moon missions with monsters, rather than true Venus mission. Also why would not astronauts would report such a profound discovery as obvious complex life on another planet. Their first priority would be to collect specimen of the creature to study its biology, than continue with collecting rocks and weather station. Furthermore even if the crew wanted to cover this up, they would not be able to, there are tons of video, audio recordings. The seismic sensors would pick up creatures walking etc. Overall it’s an interesting attempt and Venus retell explored as place to visit, but author needed to study the science much better i.e. they can’t see the surface in visible light, but they can see with radar, and they obviously used radar to determine the distance to surface.
