As a life long Warhammer fan, (now 32) I am beyond excited for this. The first game was one of the best Warhammer games ever. And I've always wanted to see a more accurate representation of how insane and brutal the warfare is in Warhammer. Even tho games like Dawn of War and Warhammer Inquisitor Martyr get it right for the most part, they lacked that close up in the action feel. Couple that with all the badass Warhammer cosmetics and you got a winner here. I hope it puts 40k in the mainstream spotlight even more so we continue to keep getting high budget titles in the videogame category. Also the monetisation method they seem to be going with is the most consumer friendly. All maps, weapons, and modes will be free but the battle pass will have tons of cosmetics. I don't mind paying extra to look cool so long as everyone is on a even playing field, we aren't artificially locked out of content, and the grind isn't focused around playing 50 hours just to unlock a blue shoulder pad.

When the first trailer came out and I saw Saber Interactive was making it, I got even more excited. What they did with WWZ was simply fun. Gunplay was nice and you felt the horde when it came at you. Honestly one of the main things I'm liking about what I see is that this just feels like a 360 era game. I hope they do unlocks & monetized DLC similarly to helldivers, with the bulk of unlocks being acquired through game time and purchases allowing access to either specific items or a small set of newly unlockable items. being able to accrue premium game currency in game is cool as well. i dont hope for 1-1 but i liked aspects of HD2 approach, mainly i hope most stuff can be had without microtransactions.

It seems all these delays of Space Marine 2 release were really for its good. Game looks incredible and so does the huge ammount of weapons and customization options! Oh and adding 3 men coop is trully Emperor's blessing. I love coop to death (Left 4 Dead, Dying Light etc) and Space Marine 2 seems as the perfect game to include coop. But that's not all, right? Even the PvP sounds interesting and is something that has huge potential to prolong the longevity of this game. Anyway, glory to the Emperor!

Retconning in Femstodies and lying about it just isn't a great move by GW. There was absolutely no need for it and there already is a really amazing mainly female army in the Sisters of battle and sister of silence or was in the latter case. You probably shouldn't try to compare this to Darktide which made the bold claim of wanting to be a live service game. As I see it this game is more likely to have maybe dlc expansions in a very typical release fashion. Somewhere maybe 6-8 months out from release, outside of maybe cosmetics being the most common dlc we'll see in between.

​@LegacyGamingUS it could be called "ORK" and the player will have to start as a lowly boy finding bigger and funner fights to reach a warboss level size. The big mek will buy and sell shootas and armor and upgrade equipment, which the player will pay for using teef and scrap. He could probably visit the runt herd to buy a gretchin to hold an extra gun or an attack squig. Whether or not vehicles like wagons, attack bikes, and deff dredds can be commandeered would be up for debate.

Edit: after having some people with reading comprehension issues respond, I was talking about that my concern was from BEFORE they announced the PVP multiplayer, because before then the only thing they'd talked about was PVE co op and the story mode. My concerns were alleviated by these trailers. *OG comment:* my main disappointment with what I'd seen so far was that it seemed there was no pvp multiplayer. The fact that they just showed off how *it* (read: the PVP multiplayer) was getting a much more robust update absolutely has me psyked for this game.
