If anyone is confuse on how to get the infinite ammo, all you have to do is switch to your pistol back and forth and you will get all your ammo back! You can see me doing it throughout the gameplay

I think people are crapping on the smg a little too hard, I worked it up to gold and play pretty much the same style as this vid it works great, use the one that has high accuracy, Gathalamor Crusade for ammo or Gathalamor Crusade Marksman for more targeted killing. It works great.

To anyone wondering what is doing this its the reserve ammo perk in a guns skill tree he scrolls over at 1:26. Swapping weapons back and forth with give reserve ammo.

Any weapon that can be reload and has a +20% ammo reserve perk have this bug. Edit: It's a different bug from the below 30%hp perk.

excellent and interesting exploit sir. Is it perk related or just a bug? Can a lvl 1 sniper use this from the get go providing they have the correct load out? If so it solves the most challenging aspect of this game.... Ammo

No idea how you do it, but I can't trigger ammo refill with weapon swaps.

it might be the early perks I have. I been able to do this trick as I level the gun up but I really don't know what for sure does it.

@@JumpinProductions It is the weapon perk that gives more ammo reserve for the weapon (+20% ammo reserve, not magazine size). Most, if not all *main* weapon bolt guns have it and can benefit from it. The heavy bolter of the heavy class is an exception. No infinite ammo for that one.

You have to shoot the enemy a couple times with your pistol so that it counts the ammo in

I don't get that infinite ammo bug you are talking about. is it a bugged perk of some sort i'm missing? i can get the infinite ammo with the las fusil when im below 30% health. not at all with this gun

So I also stumbled upon a ammo bug but it's different then that one. To be exact on the heavy bolter if in it's perk tree you make sure to get the 20% surplus ammo you can swap guns back and forth at any hp and you reserve ammo increases it might have a similar perk in the tree

@@Coiney100the weapon perk that says the magazine is replaced by 50% of the shots you land is the perk you need and when you switch your pistol you actually have to shoot the enemy first with your pistol before switching back
