I gotta say…I still think Assault needs some love, but it’s not nearly as bad as I once thought it was. Now that I actually have the class maxed out with better weapons, the class performs much more consistently. It still struggles against Thousand Sons, but against Nids it absolutely shreds.

Its by far the most engaging and fun class ive played. I do think it needs at least quicker skill cooldowns, i never use the Assault boost dodge which i would love to, but the jump slam is much more important 99% of the time due to long cooldowns

let's start with the fact that throughout the entire operation. you almost died 10 times. This class is truly the worst. 90% of his perks are useless. The jetpack is useless. the hammer is useless. when compared to other classes. but the fact that you were able to complete the mission. I can only say. that you really know how to play the game.

People cry about it being the worst and they make videos of their level 10 assault. Assault main here too and it was a rough start but I breeze through it now. When you have a max rank class with max weapons. This game is a breeze

Really now really I do max difficulty almost every day and assault class compared to the other two classes you got to be fucking kidding me there’s no way you’re saying what you’re saying and telling me it’s a breeze on the max difficulty with assault class not to mention the god-awful problem with trying to get a single match even going because of connectivity issues. I find crazy people like you keep saying this dumb ass stuff every time and then I gotta really put any hours on the game nonsense do you actually play the game? I could tell you a bunch of things is really wrong with this game.

Assault can be amazing in moment to moment gameplay, but (there always is a "but"): - Other classes have much more impactful team perks/synergies - On average Assault takes much more skill to reach similar results compared to other classes (more on that in the next bullet) - AoE weapons such as Melta/Multimelta/Bolt Rifle with Underbarrel GL - these weapons do the same job Assault usually does, but wihout putting themselves at risk in melee, without timing the parries/dodges, etc. They can just dodge -> left click -> dodge -> left click... while also healing much more and much easier than Assault heals in melee (who arguably needs healing much more than ranged dps) I love Assault and it is my main, but relative to other classes Assault isn't in a good spot.

@@Warranty_Droid I think what it is, is that people see the ease of use of the other classes and this one just requires more time comparatively. They’re not wrong, the class has a bit of jank with the jet pack and some perks but once they are fixed this class gonna be smacking

@@aquamayne8168 I think LegacyGaming said something about the devs working on a fix for the jump pack not working sometimes when you press the button and there is a perk for the hammer that’s supposed to give you an armor pip when doing aftershock (this would help tremendously against chaos because you can trade with them in melee range without getting smacked) but it’s bugged and only works at 30% HP also some things where if you slam you can get stuck in between objects unable to get out some other things too but I’m compiling them to send to the support team
