What is that axe, it has great middle warm tone! I sold my "Casino" and sold my "Seagull Maritime" so I could buy a superior acoustic and Epiphone's rarest acoustic having been commissioned by Loretta Lynne back in 59 called the "Excellente"!! Epiphone were so impressed by this axe that they built a tiny run of just 139!! That's globally!! Recently Epiphone added the Excellente to their "Masterbuilt" series and I saw a review from JP Cormier who has played literally THOUSANDS of acoustics and he stated the Excellente is the very best he's EVER played...I told myself - "Myselfish...you WILL have one of these sweet, sweet smokin hot ladies" Then my alter ego mocked and laughed at me! ") Cormier said NOTHING compares to the Excellente, not Martin, Not Taylor, not even Gibson who own Epiphone!! After watching that Cormier review I immediately got on the old smellaphone and asked my buddy "John" from "Connors Music" to find one for me and a few days later John called to tell me Epiphone only produced 40 Excellentes in all Canada, and "Connors" was the ONLY shop getting one, as the rest had all be prepaid and sold except one, and I bought it!! First off, this solid wood guitar is stunning with real gold plated vintage tuners, a FIVE PIECE NECK, beautiful multi layered binding and superb purfling!! REAL Mother of Pearl block inlay on the headstock and MOP clouds on the neck, bone nut and bridge with an ebony finger board, and fishman electronics, Incredible mid tone, which in my humble yet totally correct opinion, is perfect for singing! Check out the Cormier review here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mV6Xdoefp8ebmas&ab_channel=J.P.Cormier If I hadn't asked Connors to find one at that exact time I wouldn't have got one!! Finally, after tax I paid $2,000 and it IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Cormier paid $1,300 for his and stated these guitars should be selling at $5,000!!! I had to have one I tells yus!! So, when I found out I was getting one, It brought a wee tear to me glass eye...arrgh! Jack ~'()'~ Canada - AKA Cana-Stan! Our vile seditious traitorous Crime Minister - Justa Turdo!

Great lesson, great song by a great musician, instructed by great guitar player. Your guitar appears thin, I have rib problems from an injury. Can you comment on your guitar and other thin acoustic guitars?

Hi - it's a Fender Paramount, which has a bit thinner body. It does affect the sound for sure. But I find it a pretty comfortable guitar to play.

Good strumming Howard. Great chords. What is the name of the six string acoustic that you are playing for Space Oddity? Thumbs up.

Hi again - Cmaj to Bbmaj is in a C Mixolydian mode, which comes from the key of F Major... hope that helps :-)
