Man, so many great rockets, including a few of my favorites (Atlas Agena in particular). Great seeing Gus and John practicing for Gemini 3.

Those blockhouse shots. Back when Chrysler was a technology powerhouse. Every day in my job, yes even now, I use software that was originally developed by Chrysler. Kurt Debus at 2:56. As a kid I figured he was the model for Simon Bar Sinister in the Underdog cartoons.

Awesome, but the music is hillarious. I expect to see the Roman army preparing for battle.

I lived as a kid to see films like this, if they ever showed it was late at night.

You know it's the 1960s just from the soundtrack....and the old men in white lab coats, so different from todays Spacex high school frat kids

I swear to Von Braun I’ve seen that Saturn I launch at the beginning before - maybe in a movie?

Was it on a NASA film released to schools? I remember watching those in elementary school.

@@CraigLYoung it may have been an I Dream of Jeannie episode, now that I think about it

@campbellmays9900 I got to meet Barbara Eden when she made a TV movie at Ft. Benning now Ft. Moore. She is a very petite woman.

1964, the first gap year in US human spaceflight, between Mercury and Gemini. The next gap before Apollo was nearly 2 years. Then almost 6 years until Shuttle. The gap between Shuttle and Crew Dragon was 9 years. Bad trend!

alot of damage to those lovely wetlands, seems nothing has changed much, more of the same probes to the moon, and more wetland destruction...........what have we learned?
@pgramsey1Ай бұрын
Those lovely wetlands would be condos and strip malls and trailer parks if not for the Air Force and NASA.
