@@dragonsword7370 not... really... I mean, the typical saying is "when the shit hits the fan" ... Most species in Star Trek utilize Warp Nacelles to propel their craft. Jet airplanes use Jet Nacelles. and Jet Nacelles have a fan on the front to push air into the engine. The Star Trek equivalent would be a Bussard Collector, also known as a Ramscoop. So I suppose the most accurate rendition would be "When the shit hits the ramscoop" ... but hey, that's just my opinion. besides, if shit (or anything, really) hits a deflector, then something has gone TERRIBLY wrong.

There needed to be more missions like this. As I see it far more logical. Need to take a station? Take a shuttle that has cloaking. With a small commando team. Just do an EV walk close, cut their way in, and start blasting things. All to bring in the rest with well placed Transporter Beacons.

I have fond memories and screenshots of this mission - I really enjoyed the space walk on DS9s hull. Yes, it's long and has some frustrating bits but I found it really cool to just be walking around on the hull of one of Trek's most important space stations and seeing it from new angles. But then again I'm also a person who really overly enjoyed the Elite Force's 'Virtual Voyager' mode and just being able to stroll around Voyager.

There was a "funny" way to do this mission by deactivating space suit visual which makes character looking like he/she walks on DS9 just in the uniform. Overall this mission was a kind of frustrating to play not only because of Kurland's constant interruptions but Dominion troops inside the station (especially in the spawn point right after station entrance after spacewalk) were a serious pain to deal off (and I played that mission in her vanilla state right after the introduction on the old DS9 map).

In fact, the expanding gas bubble from the explosion would create a shockwave at close range. At the distance we're at, it slams into us with a fair degree of kinetic energy. (Had we not jumped, the shear forces on our legs, being affixed to the hull by mag-boots, don't bear thinking about.)

@@DeaconBlues117 I was going to mention such an idea but I omitted it in the end. The thing about that though is that it would take quite a wall of gas to propel one at that speed. Hale was a fair distance from the origin of the blast and unless he happened to jump straight into an invisible jet of such gas I don't see it happening.

The founder “knew” Karu’kan, which means she knew he was dangerous. This is why her response to his presence was to denounce him. He was probably a notorious individual in the Dominion who was dispatched to the Alpha quadrant in the expectation he would do considerable damage to the Dominion’s enemies before being killed in action.

Rick, any plans to continue the unique Romulan storyline? It's quite interesting, and I believe you only got to the founding of New Romulus. There are a total of 6 'seasons' for the Rommies. KDF officers have 4 seasons, however each season is much shorter, something like 4 or 5 episodes long. I intend on covering them, but... my Romulan is a Science Liberated Borg, and my KDF officer is a Tactical Orion. My main officer is an Engineering Joined Trill, so I get some very different perspectives.

It's a tiny drone with a light. They have been added to all the EVA suits now, and there are a couple of missions where you can get them as a separate equippable item.

That's a thng that's almost a running gag with Cryptic's Interiors....they had the same issue with Champions Online. You should see what Engineering in a Defiant-class ship in STO looks like some time... :-)

Actually They updated DS9 interior to a more Accurate “smaller” model in the victory his life expansion(it’s really good) which has now replaced the social zone. Unfortunately they can’t update this old mission map without rewriting the entire level(which they may do someday..... supposedly). A lot of the older maps are intentionally superlarge for foundry compatibility(RIP) and full away team missions, NPCs love to get stuck on complex geometry lol.
