I saw your most recent video about terra forming Mars. The problem with that is Mars was once very much like the Earth, buy it just doesn't have enough gravity /density to hold on to a terrestrial atmosphere, and over about two billion years, it just drifted away into space. So, what about adding more matter to it? The asteroid belt is already broken down into smaller pieces, they would be very convenient to divert, and if we broke them up and left them in Mars orbital path, it could accumulate them slowly without the harsh impact explosions of larger pieces. 👍😀 BUT, our solar system is balanced out by gravity. If you alter where matter is concentrated, you are going to alter that balance! Maybe even alter it too much for the Earth to still be habitable. So, my question, is would you add the mass of the asteroid belt to Mars, and of course subtract the asteroids from our solar system all together, let it run into the future, and see what the shift in the gravity does to the Earth's orbit around the sun? Thanks. 🤗
