When musicians can't hear themselves on stage, they refer to their monitor engineer. Who is usually stage left(the musicians left). He does not once look to his engineer for any sound adjustments. Plus, this is their last song, the mix would be dialed in by the second song. What you are hearing is a mix of the actual guitar amps and the front fill speakers through a cellphone. Enjoy the show, and don't criticize what you don't know.
@tyslink5 жыл бұрын

Spacehog- one of the most underrated bands of the 90's. The sound engineer should have his ass shot off for this stage mix- Royston is straining because he cant hear himself- and no where near enough of his vocals out front- guys sound great either way. \ m /

Such a tiny island yet from there come the best rock bands in the world. I'm as American as baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet, but I'll be the first to admit that the Brits totally kick our ass in music. No comparison.
@scottykingdavid6 жыл бұрын
Theres truth in that statement.. From way back yet.. I wondered why right?? And the only conclusion i had come up with is that the education system is and was way better number one.. Number two they werent ass dumbed down as we americans are and were. Hence your t.v programming and all those other amercian things you also spoke of. I believe they were and are aware of the world from a different perspective our see it from a different pair of glasses than we do. I wondered this very thing as you a long time ago myself. And objectively that was the conclusion .
@jamesmcgheeii78384 жыл бұрын
I disagree. We have such a broad range of music... folk, funk, Jazz, rock, country, western, blues, bluegrass, broadway, R & B, hip hop, pop... and our rock stands up against the best in the world... from the very start (Chuck Berry, Little Richard)... but I doubt most musicians would want to play the “best country” game ... music is the international language and musicians constantly influence each other across national borders, space and time ... peace to all, it’s not a competition!!

As a one time bass player in the 90's before the shitty arthritic fingers came along 20 years later, I can concur that this bass line is still as badass as it was in '96 and still requires a re-wired brain to play and sing over. But yeah the 2 note guitar harmonic piece is suffering a bit now. What a great band though, so much more talented than Oasis who f*cking stole the 90's from all sorts of much finer guitar bands.
