The "now its a musical" part I totally understand. Becsuse on like, every other page of Tolkien stories, it breaks into a song/poem that someone is singing. I'm not even kidding, it got so overwhelming during my read through of the trilogy that I no kidding would just gloss over and sometimes even full-on skip the sometimes pages of song and start reading at the next storyline paragraph since the singing and contents of the song had nothing to do with the plot. It was just Tolkien being Tolkien, adding merriment to the mood while doing his world building and creating lore. I adore and cherish his works, but the poetry drags a bit.

I also recommend his playlists of episode reviews for Ahsoka, Robyn Hood and the Acolyte. Ditto "Disparu" but his videos are quite a bit longer. If you want really long form, "little platoon" is it!
