Why haven't we found any trace of another civilisation in our own Galaxy? If our own planet as been around for 4.5 billion years that's more than enough time for other space venturing species to spread out across the Galaxy. So far.....nothing. 🤔 Edit: just my thoughts (baseless) you could say , I'm not a astrophysicist. 😅 Also , how come the JWS (jameswebb) telescope hasn't seen Anything? If we can detect galaxies that formed only few 100 million years after big bang (not sure about that number) why can't we see any evidence 🤔

@@Dalers84uk It’s hard to comprehend I get it…. Simply Google “How far have our radio waves traveled”. That may put into perspective just how hard it is for us to contact any other life form. It doesn’t mean it’s not out there, it just means the universe is so vast that communication with other life forms is nearly impossible because the distances between stars are unbelievably vast. Our galaxy alone is 100,000 lights years across and our radio waves have only been traveling at light speed for a little over 100 years. Again…Google “how far have our radio waves traveled”. Hopefully we find out in our lifetime 😊

@@Dalers84uk The planet has been around for 4.5 bil years, but the first telescope was invented 400 years ago. Besides how would they even know we're here? We've been transmitting EM waves for the last 100 years. It is impossible to imagine how that could work. One thing is for shure, each time, self-centered egoistic humans thought they are in the middle of everything and are most important - science proves them wrong.

if you want a better interpretation on the size scale, when we are shown the ball which represents 1 billion kilometers, followed by the alpha centaur star, you should have put 42,000 balls of 1 billion kilometers between the two stars , because a light year represents 10,000 billion kilometers, when we think that Pluto is only 6 billion kilometers away, we realize to what extent space, even inside a galaxy, is consisting of 99.999% empty space. and unfortunately this kind of animation doesn't help people at all to actually be able to interpret the actual distance between objects in the sky, when your billion mile ball is halfway to a star in a animation, while in reality, this star should be 42,000 times further away, it takes time to clearly realize the distance

“The observable universe” is what we can see in the darkness with our current “flashlight”. A bigger “flashlight” will show us a bigger circle of light in this incomprehensibly vast cosmos. If this isn’t staggering to your mind you are not thinking straight. And as amazing as this zooming out is, zooming in is equally amazing. The intricacies of the subatomic particles and the discovery of smaller and smaller components of matter…. 🤯 ❤

It’s completely impossible to the human power of understanding to even conceive how small and insignificant are we in the incommensurable and tremendously vast universe. We’re just a spec of dust in our own solar system but in our galaxy it’s just like we wouldn’t even exist. Does your creator have a physical presence or do they have their own creator, if so where are they?... Who's beyond them or in this profound case who's within and who's beyond??... I think it's high time that we all accept that we are all just a coincidence or a chance happening or even crazy that we don't exist at all... That may be one of the possibilities... We all should stop kidding ourselves with petty things like money, power, status, position,etc and stop our squabbles over our egos and we should just surrender ourselves to being alive...❤❤❤

@asiamies9153 9 ай бұрын
@@scoper7897 Even if you were the most advanced civilization possible, you could likely not travel faster than the speed of light. In 1974, we sent a message (the Arecibo message), which contained encoded information about the human race, DNA, atomic numbers, Earth's position and other information, towards the globular cluster Messier 13, which is about 25000 light years from here. So it first travels 25000 years and then, the hopeful response would take another 25000 years to reach us back and that distance is still small in the scale of the universe. The distances are simply too great with respect to the laws of physics to even contact someone or something. That's radio. The other thing is that telescopes are also bad (atleast currently) for looking for life. We cannot even see the nearest known exoplanet, Proxima Centauri b, which is just 4.2 light years from here. We can only deduce its existence because something is pulling the star, Proxima Centauri, as it does not stay perfectly still. In other words, zero proof (so far) means absolutely nothing. If our scientific instruments (and the laws of physics) were several orders of magnitude "better" and we still couldn't contact or find anything, your claim would be slightly more convincing than 0, which it is now.

In something I was writing (I'm not a published author but hope to be) I actually said in that universe it was literally all of what you see in the video and beyond is a dark void. And the impossible thing that happens is a rouge planet with a very vile species on it (think the flood from halo) emerged form that void and began assimilating species.

That is like saying "I feel like there is more land over the horizon" we know there is more, but we can't see it the theory is that how far we can see is down to the age of the universe as light can only travel to us with as many light years as there are years in the age of the universe. We definitely aren't the centre of the universe, which also is a hint that there is more.

What makes you believe or think there are so called multiple universes? Why would that put your mind at ease? Actually, as God's apex of creation... we humans are rather SO significant in the grand scheme of things... especially to God. I think you could use a new viewpoint or attitude adjustment based on your statement that... "Nothing truly matters or is all that important... wow... seems rather pessimistic to me... Remember... the heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim his handiwork. Psalm 19 You truly matter to God Julia... Health, Joy, Peace and Blessings!
