Frigid wind blowin off of the lake in Madison that night. Trey was right. The University rent-a-cops were out in full force and the lines to the bars after show were readicculus!! I have never danced harder than I did during Melt. The Simple from this set is very underrated. They really had aced the ambient, snaky, spacey groove by this point. You can get another example of this from the DWD>Piper from two nights later...

Matthew Stamm Also this set is marred by some douche throwing a glowstick/laser pointer at the stage during Hood and there is an audible thump during the jam. The band noticeably wraps things up after that and I believe we would have gotten another tune to end the set....the "naked dude" would forever be sensationalized in Phish lore via Carini...classic
