But the anime didn't manage to bring that up. As I also have read the manga, The Elf arc was a bang after bang in every chapter. And this Spade Kingdom arc is more banger than the Elf arc.

To clear up misconceptions in the comment section: The budget did not increase, they did not change studios, they did not get many new animators, they did not upgrade directors (the old one was technically promoted to chief director). They just put more work into this episode and their schedule is better now. Not every episode will look like this but big fights/episodes will likely look even better than this.

This is my theory as a non manga reader. All hints kinda point to yuno being some heir to the spade kingdom. He has the same black hair as the villains(not sure if it matters) but he is clearly royalty in some way, and I suspect spade because of the guy who called him lord is from the spade kingdom. Not sure if he's related to the devil villains but he's somehow heir to a place. That is just my guess and I'm likely wrong, but eh. What makes asta so cool tho is the fact he isn't (or so called by the queen) special in any way. So he's likely just a real orphan. As for why he got demon powers, i think demons are able to choose their own direction and he saw astas potential. Perhaps the demon also has a motive that he needs asta to be powerful to achieve. Who knows. If you're a manga reader please don't confirm anything or deny lol.

I have a theory what if: Yuno is the son of the spade kingdom’s king and his wife ran away with another man also giving birth to asta and when the king found out he tried to kill her yuno and asta so she ran to the clover kingdom and left them there at a young age without them knowing that they are probably step siblings and they they both belong in spade. Other wise why would you explain asta devil powers and yuno’s fairy mode having a crown and a blade that looks like the demon dweller sword.
