Hi there, so the prices are not too expensive in Amsterdam. For 3 portions you will need 500 g of fresh clams and about 400 g of spaghetti. Enjoy the recipe!

in Italy, you don't need to be rich to eat well: a nice spaghettata (500 g) con vongole lupini (500 g) will cost 9.90 euros for ingredients, and it will feed 3 people. How much would it cost in your country?

It will sure cost a lot more here in Central Florida for sure if eaten outside,however if made home won't be so much more.Problem is we don't have fresh claims everywhere so may be a task at time. 😊

@@MsAure really, are they so difficult to find in Florida? I think in the northern states it should be easier to find fresh clams, I remember plenty of them in New York. Enioy the recipe! :)

@@authenticitaliancooking I am from NY where grandma use to pick them herself in Long Island. In Florida(Center) I haven't found a fishmonger that I feel comfortable with.If it dosen't look fresh, they aren't coming home with me! :)

@@MsAure agree, if you do not trust where they come from or how they have been allevated better be careful, you know in Italy in the last 2 years quality has started lacking because of invasion of blue crabs that eat clams and mussels
