@@Saif-zf9vb well, it does. The only reason it's bubbling over is because the lid traps steam and moisture. Taking it off the heat constantly is going to lead to the pasta not being cooked properly. There's no reason to cook pasta with a lid on

KAYS GOOD COOKING Kay thanks for the reply. You can get Cajun spice from the spice isle in Tesco or Asda. They even have an own brand one. You don’t have to use chorizo. You can change it to any sort of sausage. Like Richmond or butchers. Hope that helps. It’s a tasty dish. One of my favs.

An old well kept family secret, known only to my family for generations (at least since the Viking days) ... if you move the lid on the pot ever so slightly, just enough that it sits sort of diagonally on the pot and a bit of steam can escape from under it, then it is less likely to boil over.

Usually when cooking any kind of pasta you boil the salted water first and only then put the spaghetti in and cook it for about 8 minutes. The salt pushes the boiling point to a higher temperature so the pasta is cooked without being overcooked and mooshy
