This is the same mad lad energy as the guy who ran a bus route from London to Kolkata, for a price of 85 Pound Sterling. It operated from 1957 to 1976, it ended due to Iranian internal problems (that would lead to their revolution) as well as increased tensions between Pakistan and India due to the liberation war in Bangladesh. The route completed 15 trips. And that's not all, the same guy also did a trip in 1968 from Sydney to London via Kolkata...and before he ended the service, he did the Sydney trip again but back to Sydney.

Roadtrips make you so much more humble and positive to the world. We parked out car in some god-forgotten town in France once and when we came back the battery died. In some magical way the occupant of the house we parked it in front was outside smoking a cigarette. Turned out he was a mechanic and had his own garage up the hill. With just hand gestures he suggested to fix our car and in a while we were on the road again. Next time I will definitely bring gifts with us for things like this. People are just so nice on this little blue planet we have.

I am pretty sure they didn't get robbed. Old Peugeots are not sought after in Bosnia - people steal VWs there. 120€ seems like a reasonable price for the clutch and work - for petrol-engined 306's, a new clutch costs 50-90€. Plus labor...which is much cheaper in Bosnia than in western Europe. Maybe the guys will install a good used clutch, or buy a cheap one and claim they installed a premium one. But still, they would get the car on the road soon for a little money (at least from DK perspective).
