Thank God for the internet and Bill Spallings.. I was here for the 2019 birthday celebrations ( Met Bill Spallings there and Elvis Nurse Marion Cocke) and wish I could have been there this year but could not make it. Without the internet and Bill I would not know what is going on down there. I have so many memories and 534 photos from last year. The year has gone so fast. I cannot believe this time has come around again, just like in August. Yeah Collingwood. Been there 12 times. This is far better than what any TV News Broadcast could ever give you. Those iconic Musical gates always bring chills to me and misty eyed just knowing ELVIS has been thru those gates so many times. I went to an Elvis concert in Memphis in 1975, still have the ticket stub of $10. I went to one concert in Nashville, TN where I live still today and work for the NHL. Ive gone to Graceland one time and had a photo taken with Uncle Vester around 1981 in front of Graceland. He was so very nice. Many of my friends use to tell me I would have a good chance with Elvis as I won several beauty pagents in the 70"s but lost Ms Tennessee. They say Im a cross between Linda Thompson & Priscilla. There is a photo of Elvis and Linda sitting inside the Lisa Marie that if I didnt just know better I would swear it was me sitting there with him. Lovely thought anyway. Elvis was always bigger than life to me that I never even attempted to try to meet him. Today would be a different story as Im not so shy anymore. My thought that stands out to me on my visit to Graceland all those years ago was that I remember there was a mop hanging upside down on the back around the pool area. I dont know why but that just stands out in my memory? The whole day and trip to Memphis is one that I will never forget, ever! I sincerely thank you Spa Guy for all that you do for us ELVIS fans!

It's amazing how many people from all over the world came here after seeing all of your great videos. I was was in Antwerp in 81 while in the Navy and took a one day tour to Paris. Saw Paris again in '92 and hung out at Jim Morrison's grave. The people that love Elvis and come to these events are of a much "different" quality than what I saw in Pere Lachaise cemetery.

Thank you Spa Guy for being the fan you are and helping in keeping his life alive for all who love him. I'm 7 or 8 yrs older than Lisa Marie, born in 1962 and grew up with a family of fans. I was nearing 16 yr old that Aug of 77 and since I was local I would drive by every Christmas to see the lights. Yes would be my answer to touring the estate in early 2000 with a couple friends, we had a great time! Later we went to Tupelo to see Don doing the Eagles and his own stuff aswell. The following day we visited the birth home of Elvis & truly enjoyed it! I've lived just East of Shelby County in Fayette Co for nearly 29 yrs, it's where I choose to raise my kids. I also worked for a Physician in my early 20s who's office was his old home, Dr, Shaffer, the back parking we had nice views of the back of the estate. Of course myself and co-worker took breaks out back looking across Elvis Presley ' s home & admiring his horses. This would've been in the early 80's. My boss/ Physician knew Elvis well and use to take a hidden entrance by the office. Doc was in his 60s at the time and had many great stories of Elvis. I've been lucky to have been so close daily and having my employer who told Karen & I stories that blew us away. "In the most positive light that is!" Thanks again Spa Guy, I love what your doing as many do. Enjoy and Happy Belated Birthday to You Elvis, He & my Daughter inlaw share the same Birthday, January 8th. Another cool Elvis fact of feeling I knew him personally. Oh one last tidbit, I lived in a house where I had both of my kid's that 5 on Park Av & a 5 min bike ride to his 1st home he purchased on Adonbon Dr. I began riding with my 1st born, Christopher through the neighborhood when he was 6- 7 months old, & repeated the rides with my daughter prior to moving near her 2nd B'day. I grew who off of Cherry rd near his home in the early 60s and attended Willowoaks Elementary school before my family moved to Bartlett. There's a few other stories of paths we crossed but I've rambled on a bit to long. (((Much love)))
