REALLY nice using the audio from the guitar player and then showing the guy playing it!

The algorithm works haha. My girlfriend and I absolutely love Girona and visit it frequently for cycling. In fact we are going for 3 and a half weeks a few days from now.

A visit to the Casa Maso is unmissable - the only house next to the river that you can walk into; and what a visit - 6 euros for a wonderful guided tour of the house and suggestions for a walk around the town to see the incredible architectual results of the mind of Rafael Maso who was part of the family who lived there.

When I was there in 1991 I visited the museum Isaac el Cec in what used to be the Jewish quarter (or Call). And I walked on top of those wall too, being reminded of a story about a siege of Girona I read not long before, in which an archer managed to shoot one of the siege force who was inside a tower outside the city through a tiny window in that tower. Funny how such little details of stories stay with you. Years later I visited the city again, lucking out as that week there was an 'open garden' event, where many of the private homes opened their doors to let you admire the enclosed gardens.

Hi from San Diego! This was truly entertaining. I used to live in Barcelona and have been to Girona twice and never did the wall walk! I’m now married and taking my hubby on the Spain tour, so thanks guys! We will be having chocolate as our meal as well! 🤣😂🤣😂 Girona is magical!! You guys have great attitudes by the way! 🥰

Well done. Was there in March 2023 and hit a lot of the same spots. Only thing I would add is to make sure you have a reservation for the train from Barcelona, especially if you're going in peak season.

I'll be one of the wives being dragged along on a bicycle trip to Girona later this year. So far, I had been unimpressed with what I had seen on the internet, but your video was really captivating. Now I can't wait to go! And I am wondering where else you have traveled...

We are going to visit Barcelona in a few weeks. Girona and Dali’s museum are on our visiting itinerary. Did you take AVE to Figueres ? Is it possible to walk to Dalis museum from train station?
@itsaboutthetravel Жыл бұрын
Yes! We took the train to Figueres and walked from the station. It's about a 1.5km walk.

Girona does not exist in spanish, some people use to say Chirona (slang for jail), but I never heard about Girona.
