1973. I loved the fusion movement. At its peak from about 69-75. New exciting sounds were seemingly always around the corner in those days. We thought it would last forever. In a way it will as long as there are terrific musicians such as these to keep it alive. Bravo!

This piece of music is as complex as it gets. To watch Rachel tackle this with BOTH piano and flute while blind leads to questions. Not to get to far in the weeds but can she be an alien hybrid?

Joe was born in Russia but was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He now tours with Kansas and gets to jam with people like Rachel Flowers, & Alex Skolnick. How beautiful is this Version of the Classic... Spain. Wow !!!! The question comes to mind... How do you give a solo cue to a blind musician on stage ?? Or does Rachel just know .... She is brilliant.

I remember listening to jazz station in Pittsburgh where they played 3 different versions of “Spain” Chick Corea’s original, Al Jarreau’s vocal version, and a Latin version by I believe Tito Puente one after the other. This interpretation is right up there with those masterpieces. Rachel is freaking AWESOME!!

Rachel has such a deep understanding of music..any instrument she picks up is just the formality of learning the mechanics of it. Once she does, she moves to the next one and repeats the process. She's already done Chapman stick. I'd love to see her have a go at Sitar and maybe do a solo album where she plays all the instruments.

I wish Skolnik would pick up that electric black Les Paul and go back to his TSO days in terms of hard R n R, with heavy riffs. I saw his 3 piece band ( not this one ) and I wasn’t impressed. I liked him in TSO that’s all 😊
