The Spanish police should send their details to the British home office who should revoke their passports, they are a disgrace to their country, makes me ashamed to be British

The Spanish government should act on it's own. Brits are from a non EU country, Spain can absolutely ban people from entering.

@sxis You should know it’s already standard procedure for police to pass on details of anyone who is arrested and there passports are already revoked.

Hi Stuart, I was impressed with our local Mercadona staff whilst waiting in line for the caja, 4 Brit youths walked in and one covered in tatts sporting a beergut had nothing on his upper body and was told he could not enter the storw improperly dressed, the guiri had to be told again in English but the cajera took pity on him and found a T shirt under the counter for him to put on and enter. Again showing how nice our hosts are to tourists who do not know the customs here in Andalucia, and admittedly the guiri was not beligerant so fair enough 😅

It is very rude to go in public other than in beach/ sunbathing areas topless. I live in the Canary Islands a bit off the beaten track & can’t remember ever seeing locals topless. It just isn’t done in any country, as far I know.

My dog was born and raised in Spain. Socialising him was difficult. He and I were attacked several times, with little more than a shrug and muffled apology once the situation settled down. After travelling with him recently through other EU countries as well as Canada, I was blown away by the difference in people's attitudes toward their furry companions. I believe compulsory dog training is something Spain would benefit from. It's good for the dogs, their families and society in general. Aside from the cost, I don't see how this could be a bad thing. It seems like a good way to encourage responsibility when people welcome a dog into their lives.

I agree. Our household had dogs and cats when I was growing up in the countryside in the Okanagan. However, I do not trust anyone else’s dogs. I’ve been bitten a number of times.

Hello Stuart, sad that you made no mention of Carlos Alcaraz today. His fans seemed a lot better behaved. I saw a comment on X today which I thought very fitting. England will not be bringing anything home until their fans learn how to behave. Never a truism more wished for 😆 🤣 😂

Stu we spend 3 weeks in march this year in Spain and have zero problems at tapas bars. But our primary language is Spanish. People need to learn to read rooms. Most restaurants we went there was only one server. So we used to grab a menu and pick everything we wanted before calling the server. They did appreciate it. In Casa Toni the server even gave us 2 vermouth courtesy of him. And no , not charged on the bill. We will be going back but certainly not in high season.

Stu, I think irregular emigration is preferable to illegal immigration. 😞. We have so many Canadians that escaped their home countries as refugees! If the home country officials had caught them, it would have meant imprisonment or death. One year, in the 1990s, a gigantic container ship arrived on the coast of British Columbia. It was filled with hundreds of irregular emigrants. When the boat was examined, most of the people were unaccompanied children. There was a pregnant dog, too! Which of these got an outpouring of sympathy? The dog. My God, I felt such disgust for my co-citizens. Send them back was what most said about the actual frightened children. That didn’t happen. There was due process. There was an update recently about some of those kids. Some of the stories had happy endings. Just had another thought: have you heard of the famous Canadian footballer Alphonso Davies? Refugee!
