Looks pretty dangerous, even with the thick tires. One big rock on your path and you're flying all the way to Sydney.

Que buen video, a ver si el turista anglosajón toma nota de tus consejos y sale del MCDonalds. Tenias que haber probado los zarajos y el morteruelo!!! Estando en Cuenca esos platos son imprescindibles y en San José los hacen de escándalo. Pity you missed those, deep country baby!

Good review. That’s a very reasonable price in my opinion. I still use my legs as motors but when/if that stops I will certainly have another look at it

I'm a Brit living in Cadiz. My Spanish amiga made Brit style fish and chips last week (obviously with merluza instaed of cod). I consider myself a >50 year connoisseur of UK fish and chips, and her meal was the 2nd best Ive ever had in my life 😁 BTW, I was kidding when I called you JAFA the other day. It's what my Aussie mate called himself 😂

Hi.....I´m an American of Spanish background and I do not understand you! My first question is if you have soooo many gripes, why remain in a country you are not happy in?¿?¿?¿? No matter where you go, not everything is perfect. There is no such place. You complain about the politics ?¿?¿? Not half as bad as our politicians here in the USA. This is a total comedy, I should say tragedy because we do not know where we are headed in the next four years. You cannot compare the liveliness, happiness and feeling of total emergence into the Spanish people that some of my relatives feel, when they do not even know the language. I have traveled extensively and nothing compares to Spain. You criticize the Spanish for repeating their holidays, fiestas, etc. This, my friend, is called "Traditions" and yes we are full of them in every region of Spain. I live in NYC and we have a few of them here.....coming up is the Macy´s Day Parade also known as the Thanksgiving Day Parade, where we see Santa arriving in the parade and which officially opens the spending spree of Christmas. We have halloween, we have the Easter egg hunt......shouldn´t we get tired of these festivities and more that we have?¿?¿?¿?.....NO. It is what makes a country´s traditions like in Spain, La Tomatina, el San Fermín, el Rocío, la Semana Santa in Sevilla, etc., etc., etc. My family is from the north, Galicia and our traditions are very marked starting with our Celtic background....our bagpipes, our jigs so similar to the Irish jigs, here called la jota and la Muñeira, our choruses, our food!!!!!!!! Spain is unique and if you don´t like it, just pack up and leave!!! ¡¡¡¡Viva España!!!!

Hi Stu, we’re really enjoying the food videos, the fish’n’chips looked great, but not as good as the Salamanca Breakfast. A couple of years ago you reviewed your wife’s Christmas Hamper, it was a really interesting video. Are you by chance thinking of doing another one this year? Hope so.

Looked very good Stu but pricier than the UK version we get in restaurants down here. We paid between 8.50 and 10 euros for fish, chips tartar sauce and mushy or garden peas. To be honest, the food is quite good, soft fish, light crisp batter both times and not too oily. I have had the Spanish version at the port of Mazarron and that was also good food and good value. There is also a British fish and chip shop for takeaways only which was also good when we used it but strangely it was more expensive than the eat-in restaurants.

Please, please, PLEASE stop using 'England' and 'Britain' as interchangeable. Many of us are British, but not English. Before you say it doesn't matter, try calling a New Zealander an Aussie.
@Isobel-el3yeКүн бұрын
Fish and chips isn't British. The fried fish was taken to London by Jews expelled from southern Spain and Portugal, and chips were brought by Huguenots from Belgium. Somehow, someone in east London decided to combine the two.

So to touch on the family thing a bit. I see it as a chance to have what we call in the Mexican culture carnes like bbqs but with drinking and dancing and family all around I’m not sure if Spanish are as loud but family orientated is something they both share for sure

Still a very well kept town with no litter , very few white lines on the road and no yellow lines or red or blue lines and no street signs and no entry signs every five mts, very peacefull and quiet and not thousands of cars and you can hear birds tweeting. Good video .

Spain must stop its cruelty to animals; e.g. bulls and the octopus farms! Perhaps that might change their karma.

You have lived in Spain too long Stuart. I spend winter in Portugal and l like their grilled fish but as soon as I get home I get traditional Haddock and chips from my local chippy and miss them so much when I’m away. Fir me there’s no better tasting fish than haddock in fish and chips. Plaice is really nice but few chip shops do it these days.

Traditional British fish and chips are cooked in beef dripping. Cooking them in anything else is not the same. I even cook my own food at home in dripping and gave up oils a long time ago as seed oils are not good for you. Cleaning the fryer is a doddle with beef dripping. Cooking oils are a nightmare to clean.
