1:12:04 Sue Bird gets a lot of attention due to her success and longevity in the game, and rightfully so. But in my opinion, Lindsey Whalen would be my pick between the two. She's a great passer, has a consistent mid range shot, and can get to the basket. Terribly underrated.

Половину матча Таурази гонялась за Торренс, чтобы не дать ей пошевелиться)))) Хотя, это - прошлое и матч архивный. Но это такой класс! Испанский характер, ведь они так держались против величайших мировых звезд. Сейчас, в 2017 половина состава Испании и США играют в УГМК. Но такого огня не видать, постарели, видимо. Очень классный матч! Такое вживую 1 раз в жизни можно видеть! Каждый день совершаю молитвы, чтобы Таурази и Торренс ничем не заболели, никуда не упали, не споткнулись и продержались в карьере как можно дольше. Уникумы.

I think Spain uses too much isolation offence. All the USA players are camped behind the three-point line, which forces Spain to shoot threes, and only one person to attack the basket. When that person attacks the basket, she gets doubleteamed, forcing a pass outside which could be easily intercepted and it disrupts the momentum/flow of the attack. Usually only 2 people should stay on the three-point line: the point guard and the shooting guard. Might be wrong, I'm no expert, but it sure looks like it

Ryan Shi zoning. the only easy shot is 3 pts. even if you slash youre gonna end up passing out which leads to a 3pt shot. this is something 80s and 90s nba team have avoid facing bcoz they cant shoot so the league banned it to make things more exciting

USA has a dream team of non celebrities, with the exception of Sue Bird, and she's barely a starter (due to experience). It's hard to sympathize for Spain when the commentator color man is being totally ridiculous with his perspective. The officials are consistently bizarre in all international sporting events where subjectivity is called for, especially in women's basketball, and I'm sure the coaches try and prepare their players for it. I'm proud of this team, especially in their semi final against Australia.
