The humour COMES from the subtleness. When you exaggerate the humour its like saying "HEY - WATCH ME - THIS PART IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY - SO LAUGH".

Correct. Hannah has an amazing range and is a true treasure to watch perform, but Sara has ethereal qualities in singing. Her scatting in the jazz numbers was beyond comprehension. I remember thinking to myself, "How will they ever get anyone else to take her place? She is so unique." I saw the original cast on Broadway and every time I see these videos, it always takes me back to the absolute exuberance of those performances. Bravo!!
