I never really found him unsettling. He was the funny salesman from the beginning. Lots of people are too detached from the game to take in anything but his funny dialogue lines. Can't smell the garbage or see the stains after all.

@@alzhanvoid I found him both really funny _and_ unsettling, and the latter was in large part because of how unbelievable it was, like, the whole first fight didn't feel like it could be a real part of the game, that that was genuinely something that was happening in the middle of the story, surely it had to be a dream, and then boom, he has a shop, where "sort of nervous laugh at unfunny absurdity" combined with "yeah it's just funny" into my premature death. Then as the game progressed the more questions were answered and the more of them were introduced, until the Ralsei scene where he walks off the map and says we should dismiss it all and the fact that I didn't go back to talk to Swatch fucked me up completely as I could not understand how Mettaton NEO was brought into this. I don't think my spirit was still in this Earth once I realized his theme was using The World Revolving, The Power of NEO and Dummy.

as an RTVS/wayneradiotv fan, and knowing their kind of humor well before this happened, i felt a similar terror because several people from RTVS did a stream of their own like 30 minutes before this that was cryptic and had NOTHING hinting to this, only to throw up the URL to the spamton stream at the very end. i don't know how the fuck they got to work with toby but that alone shook me to my core and seeing someone's reaction to this, and having NO idea who any of the people i just mentioned are, is just super interesting/funny to me. this is a crossover of my interests that i could never have predicted lol

Dude I ate an edible before watching the stream, thinking I was gonna be fine. I was so VERY wrong! It felt like I took a literal pint of acid and was so messed up I was tripping through spacetime and ended up in an alternate reality. Spamton was my God. I joined a cult, where I became a sort of sacrificial lamb to summon Spamton. Then Spamton entered my body and we became one. I snapped out of it as soon as it was ending. I havent slept since the stream, thinking that I'm gonna have dreams and/or nightmares of Spamton. I am truly gonna be ruined for a good while. All in all, a successful and great Fangamer Undertale/Deltarune Anniversary Stream. 10/10 would experience again!

But some interesting things you probably didn’t catch it during your suffering was that The thing that was chasing Spamton A Spamton said something about “the him and the angel” (again I know Toby said it’s not canon but if you want to really make connections) Some people say that The voice of saying that spamton A better pray that gaster (him) and The angel digress (or stop what they’re doing and spare him. Also something interesting is we never get an answer for who was calling Spamton in the background of his shop when we talk to him. But you could extrapolate that it was Spamton A calling Him and our Spamton didn’t pick up because he was talking to kris. either way sorry for continuing your thoughts on this horror film lol just some thing I thought you should know.

Just fyi, Toby didn't write/make any of it, it was the RTVS crew who were credited, hence why Toby said on Twitter that this livestream isn't canon to the games. Although considering some of the horror elements in Undertale, I bet a horror game from Toby would be great, too! Just remember it would look a lot different than what's presented in the livestream since it wasn't made by him
