Well spoken and articulated, you can see the old bloke still has his pride & his stories, but isn't afraid to share his vulnerable moments, fears and trauma. It's clear he wants to help others so they can have a better run of things than him. Thank you for sharing Russell and another great segment Spanian. Cheers.

Understanding the power of vulnerability is a major theme of this series and what makes it palpable is that its not presented in the way that dodgy new age self-help grifters do by scamming people out of money with some scheme, workshop or 10 part course. Its truly genuine.

You can see how genuinely moved Spanian is when Russel talks about his low points or some of the horrible things that happened to him. Unbelievable that someone can go through all this and still come out on the other side - not just normal, but as a success - he must be an incredibly strong-minded human. Mind blowing.

Awesome interview, keep speaking your truths to the world... I can't wait to hear and see where you both go from here... You two working together to walk in the front doors of those hell holes and bring hope to people again honestly brings tears to my eyes... What I have gleaned from both of your stories is that universal appeal of the indomitable human spirit , ( for better or worse) the power of transformation and the desire to inspire others with Hope . Your courage to share your true experiences with honesty the difficult gut Wrenching failures. The challenge is to accept with humility ,accomplishment and to trust that we re deserving and to not self sabotage . Honesty , open-mindedness and to be willing to help others without judgment. I m a 62 year old slowly recovering vet from America and I ve just binge watched quite a few off your vids and this one blew me away. Thanks so much brothers .
