Thanks. Since your last vid I've played a few ranked games. Looking forward to playing more AoE 3. It always has been on my radar, and I would play comp stomps every now and then over the years. I've been having a blast playing Spain, even though I keep housing myself more than once each game. Appreciate the insight.

New cards really help the spanish FI. Might I recommend exchanging 4 lancer shipment with reconquista? You can easily cap that 50 archaic unit deaths and ship 10 dragoons using an age 2 card slot and easily double the value of a 4 lancer shipment.

I think you can justify putting the card in, i dont think i would remove 4 lancers though, since if you are forced to stay age 3 they really can help you stay alive. I guess 7 infinite lancers could be removed, or a age 2 card

Great stuff again ! Didn’t Spanish gold just get buffed from 300 to 330? Also , Spain has an age2 card that gives you 1 conquistador for each 5 archaic unit losts , but probably hardly ever worth it ?

Instead of 1000w there is a niche for colonial Eatancias maybe , you don’t need to waste villager seconds to gather it should save you at least 1000w for housing I think especially if you age up with the Bishop for second TC

Spanish gold is 330 coin atm i think yes. Yeah the age 2 card can be worth it, so if you can fit it in it definitely can be a good fit! Has some comeback potential..the only real drawback is that they will be age 2 conqs. I havent thought about colonial estancias. I think the downside is that it is hard to fit in age 3 and not that flexible. But definitely a good point you are raising and actually can be really good. I am still doing the FF church thing from your video prior with Spain , so will take a while . Agreed , those goons will be age 2 and not worth it much . Colonia estanzia i tried before in other builds and I do like it , it’s not that flexible but at the end of the day you need housing anyway . And saving lots of time . Always a pleasure to watch your vids .
