The egg is a cultural reference to Finnish mythology, according to which the world was born out of a goldeneye duck egg. Henri is the bird with denim feathers and wears boots that are similar to boots worn in the days of Kalevala (Finnish mythology). So W95M is born out of the egg, and obviously doesn't have his magic denim shorts yet, and he goes looking for them. They finally appear from the heavens. The lyrics have their own meaning. So, yes, this is partly a parody of the 90s, but also with carefully thought-through stage performance with clever camera work to hid Teemu's underwear until he gets his pants. Apparently, they are not going to change the staging massively, but will make it more glam and better.

The Egg is propably related to Windows95 OS. Microsoft included their eraliest products "hidden Easter eggs", he is hiding in the egg, so its joke 😃😃😃

No, this is not a "fake" or "joke" song, it's a proper song (not sure how you could not hear it, honestly), and there is a story here as well... Based on mythology, but the main message of the song is to be free & be yourself!

Yeah, the stage performance is birth story based on Finnish epic Kalevala, not random. But maybe it doesn't open up if not familiar with Finnish mythology and culture 🤔

@@annalyon2729Please explain why you take the song as a “joke”? It’s based on Finnish cultural historical heritage in the performance and the song is based on the idea of “we are all perfect as we are”. Teemu and Henri are 150 % in this and very ironical on themselves. So where is the joke?

@@eetufin Because it's the impression of the listener that matters, and that's what I get from this. The lyrics are also kind of cringe, like a parody of cliches from the 90s songs, and I don't even like 90s pop music. The staging is a comedy act that tries to save a mediocre song but fails. Usually I like Finland's entries but this time not, and I fear that you have a hard time qualifying to Grand final

Es un himno por ser quien eres 🌈🎉🎊 Y al mismo tiempo es una historia de nacimiento basada en Kalevala, la mitología finlandesa🦅🥚 Pues es muy auténtico basado en historia mitológica Finlandesa y por eso nada de “fake” o “joke”. Henri Piispanen es cantante y actor de doblaje profesional. Visita KZbin para conocer sus bandas "Pasa" y "Kontio Polar". Los chicos se conocieron mientras hacían este proyecto, se agradaron mutuamente y decidieron participar en ESC. Porque el Henri no sale en título? Tenemos que respetar la decisión de Henri como no quería ser titulado como el no quiere ser el protagonista como se siente tímido y avergonzado. Es como Cris Lowe en Pet Shop Boys. La gente de Finlandia quiere que la gente se diviertan y que si ganemos lo hacemos en nuestra manera. Una vez lo hicimos con Lordi 2006 - pero sabes porque? Como aquello año no tenían jurados, solamente voto público! Hemos enviado unas canciones más bonitas, ultima vez 2017 Norma John con “Blackbird” y ni pasamos desde semifinal al final gracias a los jurados! Pues por eso la gente quiere enviar al Eurovisión canciones que la gente le gusta y representan los finlandeses - un poquito raros, locos pero divertidos (el país más feliz del mundo ya 6 años)! 🎊🎉🤩

Everything about this is incredible, Henri's falsetto is so soft and beautiful there, goes perfectly with the lyrics. I checked Pasa and Kontio Polaris and for me this is all that was missing in his former bands- power and absolute positiveness :) hope he keeps the good work together with Windows95man

Agree with everything else, but the "el país más feliz del mundo" is a misnomer, an unfortunate one; having little corruption and good welfare benefits etc. doesn't make people "happy", even though they are good things to have - in fact one doesn't see as many unhappy people anywhere as one does in Finland, and how else could it be, in acountry with the worst climate in the world, with no sunshine (or visible sun) for half of year...

I agree in some ways. They should have added Featuring Henri Piispanen. And this isn't considered a fake song, the whole staging has a story behind it. The Denim egg represents the mythology in Finland where the earth was born from an egg (maybe it was humans idk) but the denim is like the trademark. it's entertaining yes and windows95man can't sing no, but he's the DJ that produced the music so he's important too. Otherwise it would be like any other performance on Eurovision, with nothing too exciting or major while windows95man makes it fun and engaging. The camera angling I think is really genius, and the dancers are pretty good as well. I do agree that käärijäs performance was better last year, however these are two different genres that can't be compared. Disco pop and rock are very different. I just find it funny how the women in Eurovision can wear anything they want, but if it's a man they're extremely judgemental of that. So I think instead of judging the staging beforehand you get to understand the story behind it

I think we should not categorize all the fun entries together as joke entries. There is a clear difference between fun songs and entries like cha cha cha and this and actual joke entries
