Read out the 51 verses in The Gospel of John with me. Throughout this video, I give you the English and Spanish transcript of each verse.
This speaking practice will help you improve your Spanish fluency, pronunciation, intonation, confidence with the language, and understanding of spoken Spanish.
I also give you pronunciation tip, and I walk you through how to say the Spanish rolled R, step by step. I show you the mistakes you’re currently making, and why you can’t pronounce the rolled R correctly.
With the 5 step process that I give you, you’ll be able to say the Spanish trilled R correctly every time. You also get to practise saying the words with a trilled R, like: rey, Israel, respondió. These are words that often come up in the Gospel of John.
The other topic I cover in this video is how to understand fast spoken Spanish better. I show you why you can’t understand certain phrases, and how to improve you listening skills.
You get to practise speaking faster with me, which is one of the best exercises you can do to improve your understanding of fast spoken Spanish. And Spanish is always spoken fast by native speakers.
This Bible video will help you improve your overall Spanish, not just Bible Spanish.
As I read out the Spanish verses, say them out loud along with me. At first you won’t be able to keep up with me, but you’ll soon notice your improvement. Also, notice my pronunciation and try to spot mistakes you’re currently making.
This video will help you with intonation, with the way I link words, and with the overall musicality of Spanish. Remember, the better your intonation is, the better others will understand you.

That's Juan 1:4! Have you noticed the parallel use of "ser" and "estar"?: estaba la vida - la vida era. The musicality is wonderful.
