I really love the part where Joey explains that his anger is fuel for him to continue speaking out against the dairy industry. Or animals products in general. It's really important to allow negativity to propel you forward when it seems to bring others down. A chip on your shoulder, if you will. @@ourtwistedkitchen8315 sure, negativity from anywhere, dealing with people that hate you, spending your time hating others, all forms of hate/anger have a terrible long term impact on a person or a community. It's why those who make change or lead a revolution are so rarely the correct people to lead a movement after change/revolution.
@ourtwistedkitchen83155 жыл бұрын
@@tuscanyiscol I would agree, for the most part. I wanna pick your brain a little & just want to talk for the sake of connecting... do you believe that if someone hates you and you deal with it by creating positive change either within yourself or within a community, do you think that would still have long term negative consequences? I just want to make sure I understand where you're coming from & please tell me if I've misunderstood what you're saying! I completely agree that spending your time hating others is a terrible way to live life & will absolutely result in negative long term effects. Personally, I practice a "live and let live" mentality, but if someone is interested in educating themselves or asking to know more about, veganism in particular, I'm more than happy to explain it to them, in hopes that it resonates.

I admit that giving up meat is not easy - especially when, as children, we are practically force-fed meat. I remember watching my little cousins having to sit in their high-chairs for nearly a half hour after everyone else got up from the dinner table, and they struggled and cried and complained, and threw tantrums because they were told to finish their dinner - which was high in animal-derived proteins. But, kids love eating fruits and vegetables and starches like mashed potatoes or rice, because it's in their natural design to consume those things. But, most toddlers that I have seen, kick and scream when they are forced to eat their meat. Kids love animals naturally and unconditionally. But, when we, as young human beings, are force-fed the things we aren't meant to eat, so many traits, by natural default, begin to whither. Hate, war, evil... I truly believe all these things have evolved from the slaughter of the innocents that we ingest. We, therefore, become the unwilling symbiotic real estate of darkness and evil. We are the destroyers of life because we believe the great lie: that we have to eat the aspects of animals in order to survive. If that is this case, why are there so many healthy and happy vegans? I am no angel, however. I still continue to struggle with giving those things up. I keep on trying, and videos like this continue to inspire and coach me in forsaking old, defiling habits, in order to reach the zenith of light and love. Thank you for all that you do, Joey. Keep on preaching, brother. I am listening.

Tyler Perazzo I don’t pay for babies to be killed 3 times a day or animals to be killed 3 times a day either. I’m not in favor of harming any sentient life, as far as possible weather that is an unborn child, a rat, an elephant or anything else. You don’t have to value animals as much as humans, we just need to recognize that their lives are worth more than the short amount of sensory pleasure we get from eating them.
@simonnaylor35365 жыл бұрын
Tyler Perazzo I appreciate your positivity. Veganism can be as expensive or as cheap as people make it. Some of the cheapest foods in the world are beans, lentils, rice, potatoes, bread, oatmeal. I don’t make very much money myself, but I also don’t have a lot of expenses. So when I save up, I might try some more expensive stuff, but I’ll also go for a week and a half each month living off of beans, rice, pasta, bread, fruit and veg. I’ll get myself something nice on pay day, and watch my money closely the rest of the month. Those fake meats and things can be expensive but those are like luxury items. Nobody needs those to be vegan. They are basically there as comfort junk foods for people who grew up with them and want them once in a while. Eating a plant based diet doesn’t have to be expensive, and you should be delicious and meet all your nutritional requirements if you eat a good variety of food. Where do you live? If I’m ever your way and have some extra cash, I’ll gladly treat you to a Beyond Burger and a beer! Here’s one website with some ways to eat a plant based diet inexpensively. www.staceyhomemaker.com/cheap-vegan-meals/ And if you ever want to give it a try, you can try a 22 day vegan challenge online (it’s free and done over Facebook in groups. It’s super positive, you get a private mentor if you like, access to dietitians, lots of recipes, tips, info, encouragement and support. It’s great. It’s called Challenge22. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit or start a new one. This challenge gives you an extra day. Ha ha.) If I can ever help you at all with this or anything else, just let me know. Cheers!
