Big Daddy Spanj and his seniors biker gang on mobility scooters terrorize local Zirax mall. This time next year you'll have to put a sidecar on that scooter so the little one can fight along side of you. I've had lots of fun with my boys sitting on my lap while playing games, except for the time my eldest was overly amused with shooting all my missiles while playing Mechwarrior when he was about a year old. Kept saving the missiles for one crucial part of the mission, he noticed the key I'd panic spam and liked the booms. So I finally had the checkpoint in view with the one boss I'd saved the missiles for and he starts banging the key right before the boss fight.

All those ships you've got parked within render range could probably be moved away for an extra 10 fps. There's 4 CVs with a dozen or so docked HV/SV on them, which'll be impacting performance.

Well this really does demonstrate the best and worst aspects of a multi-player server. Getting to play with your friends sounds awesome, but the lag throughout your videos is 10x worse than local, and I just couldn't handle it. Thanks for showing off how epic it can be! 🖤

Empyrion would really benefit from 'wellness' system that 7DTD Darkness Falls is using, where death actually means something more than 'oh well, I died again'.

Ideally the ability to set difficulty and resurrection effects through an expanded interface (that would work between games saves like the 7days to die game settings work ) so that the player has choices how to play would be ideal.

I love the swimming pool. Also, kind of disappointed there were no Ziraxin "Bathing Beauties" in bikinis down there. Utterly pointless, but would have been hilarious to find a bunch of "civvies in skivvies" at the pool.

It is the Kodiak by Artemis, 10 auxiliary and 10 quantum beast with the plasma changed to posi's due to being on a server. It is one hell of a ship and I loved bringing it to the fight

Wow, that looks like a very hard fought battle. An impressive POI to be sure and I love the design and how well populated it is, it is a sector command after all, it makes sense that there would be half an army guarding it. That said, I don't think I'll be running it any time soon, that lag is just too much. I don't mind getting eviscerated when I stupidly step out in front of a battalion of Zirax, but being blasted by enemies who haven't yet come into the room or who I can't kill because my screen has frozen is not in my recipe for a good time :( I yearn for the day that this game gets a deep bug fix and optimization patch. So many activities would be so much more fun if they weren't such lag fests and crash triggers.

Finished watching this. Undeniably excellent entertainment with the SAS backup there. Call in for reinforcements aka ablative armour for Spanj. Hitsuju’s SV in the turret take down was incredible! As we see this from Spanj’s pov, it’s hard to see how all the other guys are doing, Spanj, you definitely need to nominate a MVP after the takedown.

Well, i was giving it some thought and brainstorming on a strat to defang the thing without some 20 aux core sv. And i've come up with an idea of decoy cv's to draw the fire of the turrets while you dart around and hit hard with an sv. It just may be possible with a little creativity and some specially designed ships

The IWC on spanj's server have been farming this solo or with 1 other friendly for the last week. We also built a small breaching Hv like Hijutsu spawned in.

at this point the loot is not important. the feel when you bomb the core after several hours action and deaths,, thats the reward ! . please show the poi after the raid ,that thing is a massiv beauty and very well made.

What happen to you when reloading the EMP is why I don't really like using it. There is a way around it though if you goto another turret you can then exit back to cockpit. So just select another turret, hit access, then back to cockpit without needing to wait for reload. It does not speed up the reload though if you go back to artillery it might still be in the process of loading.

For all those who say this is too hard, I can't do it, or that is not possible solo.... I just wanna let y'all know I solo'd the exterior in a T4 MCRN-Scorpion with only T1 turrets and a T2 arty turret. She is a beast of a POI, but with skill, patience and tenacity, it is rather simple to fight. Honestly, I have been looking for one that is on completely open terrain just to up the challenge to 10. Also, I am not saying I am a great tank pilot, rather I think I am only about average. So understand, I really think anyone can do this, so long as you don't run in blind.

if you have several hours and are willing to die quite a few times, you can solo it. Saw one guy do it already with the scorpion but modified for this purpose. the conclusion is it takes way too much time for the loot. better go kill dreadnought for T5.

I would need an expert opinion on some questions, which doesn't seem to asked a lot. Who knows, maybe there are some barriers of decency around nowadays which honesly just prevent even thinking about asking an esteemed expert like yourself to be inquired about his personal experience on these topics. But I feel we should gather our courage and supress strong emotions to discover level-headed solutions, or else who might know what might not happen? Compared to the previous version of the game, how optimized it became? Do you need more binary horsepower, what about loading times, and available settings, not only in client, but in server too. Are the enemies sometimes still look like rubber-suilts, puppeteered by inexpert actors inside? Last time zyraxians were almost good, mainly just the infected ones, horrors, and such were acting a bit funny. Thank you for your answers, may you rest comfortably on your porch, a glass of strong spirits in one hand, and a woman of your heart in the second, and a pipe in the third. :)

You can solo without taking down the shields. The blast doors on 2 of the outer walls auto lower. There is switches to lower the inner blast doors. Then you can run upstairs and turn off the shields with a switch. How your supposed to figure that out I have no idea. But, its tough but not extremely hard to take down the shields without ever removing a single turret.

how do you deal with big turrets inside the main building before you get the shields down though?

@@Spanj I just ran past. They move super slow. The problem is when your on the stairs leading up after them. You have to deal with all the xirax from below and above swarming on you. It was rough. *edit I did kill the inner turrets after I brought down the shields using the whole scope around corners trick to stop return fire. It works on the big turrets below too. However, only if your scoping around the left side. Which means sprinting across the hall to the walls on the other side for cover.

i wouldnt terribly mind low framerates if they were smooth. its not the fps thats the issue, its the 1/2 to full second lag spikes at the worse possible time, usually when youre getting shot. at that point its not 15fps, its ONE. as much as i love this game to death, ive become a bit of a pacifist because combat is so janky.

I really dislike the changes made to the shield system for 1.7. It add a level of difficulty that I think is silly.

39 seconds in and booo! Calling for backup. Bears out what I always thought about RE. It’s a multiplayer mod really. In order to experience the full mod you must play on a multiplayer server. That’s fine but it would be fantastic if there was a single player (read easy mode) version where playing perma death was at least possible.
