The lack of a Detector is definitely something I MAY have done before on a published build, and then only realized later. For you though, really, it is all chat's fault. You built the Centurion during live streams, and it is chat's job to help you remember things like Detectors, Ammo Boxes, O2 Tanks, etc. I mean that is their OTHER job, besides just heckling you 🙂

Great series, looking forward for more. In 1.09 the spawns will work until the core is dead and existing spawns will hang around after the core is gone. Looks like that mechanism is the same in 1.10. I have found that going to an ice moon, drilling a lot of surface ice with an HV and processing it into water seems faster than using water generators. Wonder what you thoughts are between the two methods?

Aboard the station, I see the Zirax dropping in not as reinforcements from the spawn pads, but as crew and soldiers who were already onboard. Due to the game engine, it looks like they spawn in. My 2c worth.

New players - Set CV Turrets to target Generator only. That way you can salvage all the goodies from the turrets =) (especially if playing RE)

So Spanj - why don't you destroy the spawn pads as you discover them? It would save a lot of getting shot in the back on respawns ... and those pads work even with no power in the base.

If we are lucky, Starfield will be like Empyrion Galactic Survival on steroids, what I mean is, those of us that love EGS will get that same feeling from Starfield, we can only dream I guess.

from what im seeing it wont be. i mean you cant even fly your ship planetside, only out in space. looting a whole ship you kill is as deep as flying past it and hitting a button without even slowing down. theres a lot of freedom empyrion offers that i dont think starfield will. starfield will basically be a space themed skyrim game with some ship flying on the side.

how come in your game the zirax and other ranged enemies seem to take some time before locking on to you, but in my game the same second i turn around a corner all the zirax has gunned me down at once?

i got so tired of the abondend buildings end room alweys just pooling in lots of enemies so i built a core with a gun on it so when they spawn the gatling turret mowes them down. my best tip, only cost some iron and copper@@Total_Egal

He did it in invisible mode so it shouldn’t have set them off but this is Empyrion anything’s possible

@@ICKY427 I can confirm unpowered spawners will not work in RE 1.10, but I haven't played vanilla in quite some time.

It's a setting on a per spawner basis. Can set them to respawn after being killed or not, and to work without power or not.

I feel like Spanj should also know that the cacti on desert planets are better for alien thorn, more abundant and the hemispherical ones give 3 alien thorn

@@hansjorgkunde3772 (The proper sentence is 'He seems to remember very little' or 'He seemingly remembers very little') Yeah but food is rarely an issue at his stage of the game, even with increased hunger. I think once you get a good farm going, you can just synthesise the Alien Plasma yourself? I remember doing it in Vanilla but right now I'm in RE so I can't quite remember what recipes are modded and what isn't.

That Centurion looks great. Too bad it uses drones which seems like complete garbage. To be fair. To have shots aimed at them instead of our ship is pretty nice. Would explain the defense part of them. I had hoped drones would be small SV's that we build and get made into AI drones for our defense. Oh well.
