This is not a job for people who aren't used to this kind of work to do 11 pm at night beside the road. This video is wonderful for me to see what to do in the comfort of my driveway with plenty of light. Anyone who thinks they may need to change a flat on the road or after dark should keep the spare in the van where they can easily get to it. I've owned 5 of these Mazda vans and had to use the spare once over the period of 20 years. I called Triple A. Thanks Kill-O-Byte for going to the considerable trouble to make this video!! Rich

My wife recently inherited a 2005 Mazda MPV as part of a deceased estate and I am prepping the car and getting used to it. They are good vehicles, for some reason we are just getting Mazdas the past 7 years. There was a B2000 pickup truck, a Bongo truck and now this MPV which all share the same 4 cyl engine - the latter models came with V 6 cyl. The MPV has plenty of space, its a van and a people carrier. Thanks for this video, saved me some searching and figuring on the car.

Thanks man. Couldn't find my manual and had no idea how to work the locking mechanism. I forgive your camera work because this is exactly what I needed.

Thank you I just repaired my tire for my Mazda MPV 2005 and also checked the spare tire that I have not checked for years. It had no air.

Just opened up the housing for the cable and the cable is shredded and stuck. Worst design ever.
