We Fix Australia's Worst Suzuki Sierra & Surprise Our Co-Worker With it!

After purchasing one of Australia's worst Suzuki Sierra and then being forced into a hard-core Sydney lockdown, our co-worker Elvis was forced to put the Sierra build on the back-burner. Lucky for him, the rest of us decided to surprise him with a FULL MAKE-OVER!
We fixed rust, gave it a major mechanical overhaul, resprayed the entire vehicle and even added in some trick 4x4 mods to help him get off-road. What an epic experience! We truly took one of Australia's worst cars and turned it into an AWESOME Suzuki Sierra, Maruti, Jimny or Suzuki Samurai as they're known around the world.

Great job guys, only one problem. It wasn't Mine! 😆. I have one of these from 1998, although mine is a Samurai and is in much better condition. I love mine to bits and I can't see any future plans in changing it. Elvis, you are one luck guy, to have mates who would do such a great job on a fantasic wee truck for you.

Beautiful project and restoration , old machines are pure gold that should get looked after and enjoyed not left to rust, the sand paint is nice but not my first choice the red was alright I'd probably have chosen a dark blue or purple just my opinion , great job though guys

Had a Weber in my 1:3L with the coolant actuated choke…then found a good deal on a 1.6L 8 valve from a Suzuki Escudo/Sidekick, Geo Tracker which was amazing, then got an SPOA kit from rocky-road outfitters, 31s super swampers with CJ wheels, and a 4:1 transfer case gears….it was a pretty cool setup, I wish I had kept it… :(

we used 3x 4L kits, we thought the 1 box would do it but when we took the car apart and sprayed multiple coats on the inside and out, we quickly went through it.

I bought my SJ80 the coily version in Cyprus and owner had it from new. Few rust places and you could grow mushroom under the plastic carpet. I don't have the time this year to take of the body so I did whatever I could like it is, cut and replaced rust parts. I would like to have a lift kit from ULTIMA but unfortunately they don't ship to Cyprus 😕😔😔😔. Parts are rare for the coily version apparently. The same as my other suzuki grand vitara
