At 12:06 when the Sabine deck claimed the initiative, I don't believe the round ends even though the Jyn deck passed on their previous action. I believe the Jyn deck could then take as many actions as they want before passing.

Taking initiative counts as a pass so the round ends since both players passed

@@TabletopRoyale Yup, there it is. They should rename the "Take the Initiative" action to "Take the Initiative and Pass". The quickstart guide clearly lists them as separate actions. I see now there is a footnote about it.

@@CraigBowser Yeah there are a lot of interactions like that I wish were highlighted a bit more. The comprehensive rules are great and thorough but I can't remember every little thing all the time. We def appreciate people pointing out rules we get wrong though so we can do things right next time!

Sub named in Marvel Champions is mich more rare. Wolverine as a hero (swu version of leader) is just Wolverine. Same as his ally (unit) card. It comes into play with Spiderman a lot though. Spiderman, Peter Parker can be in play with Spiderman, Miles Morales. You don't have things like Wolverine, weapon X and Wolverine, Old Man Logan for instance. You also can only include one copy of a unique character that shares a sub per deck. So you can't have 3 copies of Wolverine (ally/unit) in your deck. I started playing SWU bc of how much i enjoy MC 🎉.

Luke and Chewie's abilities should have been switch IMO. Chewie protects others, not put them in harm's way; So Chewie giving a shield makes more sense. Luke likes using his friends as bait to fight things, so him giving sentinel to others makes sense in that vein lol

To clarify, yes, you do get to decide if you want the initiative or not. You never HAVE to start with it when you lose the previous game or win the dice roll.

Not that it matters a wholelot, but in Marvel Champions you CANNOT have an Ally and Hero out of the same name (unless that was changed recently, then again its a co op game so who cares). But what js possible is to play Wolverine Ally while the Hero is in their Alter Ego called Logan. Its weird.
