@@ryanmilewski9641 These aren't fringe outside of Etali though. Atraxa, Talion and Ob Nix have a ton of representation and Atraxa even has multiple tournament wins.

Ah, I guess my exposure to CEDH comes more from watching it via a multitude of other KZbin channels as I usually play mid - higher power casual commander. I tend to not proxy all that much as a side note. I find Play to Wins content covers more meta popular commanders. Regardless I play Ob Nix without combos and love the card advantage along with group slug the deck naturally generates.

Ok, that was a ridiculous and awesome game with all the triggers. Very cool. And every time I see it in a (non-cedh) pod, I try to tell people that Bloodchief is going to win the game for its caster unless it's destroyed, and every time... Cool to see it happen in cedh too. Even more reason for me to build Talion.

The spawn is one of my favorite cards ever, I use on a Zellix deck that is just quite sweet along with Bloodchief Ascension, but seeing Talion being used as this is amazing. I might have to add Talion.

What's crazy is that Brandon was playing an outdated version of Brazytree's deck. A lot of Talion players have moved away from Aboleth Spawn and this video makes me want to add it back into my deck.

I mean when you get to resolve that many triggers on the stack, I usually take a deep breath, and then I put in evidence on my board the pieces that relate to those triggers. This helps me not to forget any interaction that may happen and I can layer like Shaggy from Scooby Doo when he's making a sandwich. Hey the more Magic happens the funnier any game gets to be!

I had no idea you guys were relatively local to me. I live about 90 minutes north of Cloud City games, but I was just in their last Saturday. I'm not prepared yet to enter a cedh tournament but I've got an atraxa deck that I'm working on getting to that level. Hope to come join in the next one.

Watching you guys have taught me so much in the past couple months. Love the content and one of the reasons im getting into cEDH. I do have a question when it comes to "friendly proxy event." Do you have to own the card to be able to proxy it and if so i would assume you have to prove it? Sorry if it sounds stupid, just looking for more clarification.
