Thanks for the tip about squeezing the angled needle nose pliers between the boot and metal to pull out the plug. I was trying to pull out my wires today by hand and finally gave up. I'll have to go and try that.
@SUPSGARAGE Жыл бұрын
It should do the trick brother, just be patient with it 🙂
@brianrosenlof388 Жыл бұрын
@@SUPSGARAGE yep, I was finally able to get them out using this trick. Even then, it took all the strength I had to pull them up, and sometime a crow bar between the pliers and the engine block. I actually destroyed one cable because the internal electrical connector was stuck to the plug so well that it just torn through the end cap. The rubber end cap came out, but the metal connector was still on the plug. Anyways, thanks again for the tip!

What's the cylinder order? Like is it all odd numbers on the driver's side and all even on the passenger side? I have to change #3 but don't know which one it is
@SUPSGARAGE Жыл бұрын
Driver side is odd and evens are on the passenger side so 3 should be second one from the drivers side starting from the front of the engine brother

Is it possible to remove the rubber boot first and then take out the aluminum cover or it has to come out all together in one?

I'm pretty sure you can, I was just afraid of ripping the boot.
