Thanks for a nice tutorial. Just bought a beater Lexus 330 and new to the Toyota family so this will get me there plus a little more to do the cam covers which are leaking. Lots of detail work but no special tools reqd so just being careful.

I use Kolbalt for my shop torque wrenches but before them I got mine at Harbor Freight and never had an issue with them. If you do, you can return them for exchange right at the store. I still use them at home. Harbor Freight puts them on sale often too. You can usually pick them up for like $20 each. Kolbalt is in the $80-120 range each at Lowes.

@jacquelinebennett6153 Id find a different video before performing the job yourself then. Everyone else seems to understand it. Im not sure if youve ever tried to video a mechanic job, but its not a simple task in itself and adds quite a bit of time to a job. Sorry its not to your standards. I do the best I can when I video while trying to work and write down all the sizes and torques as well as run my one man shop all at the same time. Thats a pretty rough task in itself.

@jacquelinebennett6153 if theres a certain part youre having issues understanding, let me know and Ill see if I can explain it better. Other than that, seems like a straight foward video to me. As an older mechainc, all we had for the longest was books. Trying to figure some of their procedures out was crazy. Im so thankful for videos these days. People really have no clue how much easier they make a job as opposed to reading procedures or not having procedures at all. Everything you do is a learning experience for as long as you wrench, no job is the same twice.
