To my knowledge, the last amazing arena fighter was... Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4? I've heard good things about the Kill La Kill arena fighter though I don't recall it selling well. So Sparking Zero, a.k.a. Budokai Tenkaichi 4, does certainly carry a certain weight to it; both in reputation and what it could do for the genre. 0:31 - Agreed, plenty of fond multiplayer memories of the Budokai and Tenkaichi games. I do wonder if this latest entry will be able to truly rekindle that spark though, given such memories are very much rooted in a local multiplayer scene, rather than the online focus of nowadays. 1:11 - An I don't think I've ever imported a game. Gosh, the way you phrase the mention of J-Stars and Xenoverse makes it sound like you were a kid playing them. You're ageing me here. 1:53 - Dabura was my go-to character. Otherwise, my preference tends to lean towards OG Dragon Ball characters, with a special exception being GT Kid Goku. 2:44 - It's a relief to see twintail Videl is still in the game. I'd heard word that she didn't have it as a costume; best look for her here.

It gives me such a nostalgic feeling seeing sparking zero thinking back growing uup, for j stars I was roughly a year out of high-school when it released. I love twin tail video design more than the short cut.
