The button is actually a just in case plan! Remember Acheron pretty much destroyed penancony dream just like that. If you think about it, by bombing everything there everyone would wake up from the dream! Sparkle herself is in ena dream, if we fail to wake up everyone, im assuming sparkle will blow up the whole thing so she and everyone would wake up!

If the Penacony get blown up then it doesn't even make sense gameplay wise and while i do love the theory but well you know Hoyo always take the most boring route possible kinda like a certain initial G game. I really feel like Sparkle are just trolling and the button doesn't do anything 💀

@@Emesvi my theory is that we never actually woke up. The only times the credits play in the game are when you get "fake" endings. To have them play again after you supposedly "wake up for real this time", is incredibly suspicious. Which would explain why Sparkle's "Chekhovs gun" hasn't gone off yet. That or they are used against the IPC or something.

@@Emesvi Probably yeah.... I always imagined that we would get a patch full of whole Fontaine flooded or something, and then 4.3 will have something that makes it all go down..... I mean, they were able to delete every single mention of Rukkhadevata and Scaramouche back to back from the whole game, so... But the flood was just one cutscene worth...😅, atleast the quest was amazing enough to make me overlook all of these...

everyone was not aware that, we already got influenced by "The Order" since the begining of the penacony arc, its in the moment when MC got partially awaken by slash from Acheron, that's why MC is the only one (other than misha) who can see clockboy since begining, also i believe that button will be used in patch 2.3 for saving sunday.

not everyone was under the order's influence. acheron wasn't. plus, since that scene with sampo being sparkle, i have a unch that she could be like phantilia, but for the fools. sampo and that dude from the honkai pokemon game are fools as well, but she seem on a whole other level. my guess is that she either truely is an emmanator or she's in total lucid dream mode. firefly may have known as well, just not as much as in 2.2. as for blackswan, i think she don't "know", but had a hunch, thus why she used the light cone. if wrong, she'd secure a memory, if right it was her way out. that lightcone, was her only way to be sure. finaly, adventurine. my guess is the ipc suspected what would happen. them getting invented? nope. taken prisonner? much more plausible. would explain why the stones were confiscated. they's a part of an actual aeon, giving powers to them. my guess is sunday REALLY didn't want those stones to be used or their power could have the same effect on their user then acheron being an emanator: seeing passed the illusion of the dream. do note that stelle went the same way as adventurine. he's playable, thus he's still alive. i wouldn't be surprised if we see him arriving with the ipc troops. my guess is he used acheron to get awakenned and send the cavalry, telling the ipc that topaz and jade have been taken prisonners by the family, along with other troops. in fact, maybe blackswan got told of the truth by him, giving her the idea of giving us the lightcone. a way to be sure if he was lying and if truthful a way to wake up.
