Hey, no problem. So what I do is I use free stock footage and art. Sometimes I will use sites like canva or Pixlr to remove the backgrounds as you want transparent files (png files) or vector files (svg files)

Thanks Claudine. I can't remember tbh but let me try and look it up. One caveat. I wrote this review before the latest version - which removed the ability to upload fonts. It did add lots of great features but that's one I miss.

Hey, so not as much as doodly, but there is an additional graphics offer. I never felt the need to take it though. If you look at my videos I tend to import graphics from elsewhere (I'm a heavy canva user)

KZbin change their rules often but as far as I know they are. Mine are? I don't see why they wouldn't be - they still take a good amount of effort (sometimes more than talking head videos). I think there's always a question over AI audio, but animation should be fine IMO

Great video, but VideoScribe is ball-and-chain-wear--subscription. Down the road, once they have enough people hooked, they can charge whatever they like. And if for some reason the firm closed up shop, it's bye-bye software. No, thanks.

Thanks for the feedback - appreciated. I get what your saying, a lot of software vendors have similar models these days. Hopefully they wouldn't do that and would stay true to their customers. But I get you.

@@JonDavis My comment looked negative, but was more of a warning to the unsuspecting; To alert people as to what they might be getting in to with ball-and-chain-wear. Example: A client/friend of mine the past year saw business at his local graphic design business fall off a cliff. Yet, he still had to renew his subscription with money he could little afford just so he could still have access to the files of his few still paying clients. Though Adobe didn't raise the subscription price, my friend said the effect was as if his subscription had quadrupled in price. Imagine if Adobe had also raised the price?! Nearly a decade ago, a ball-and-chain-wear software I was using doubled the monthly price. Turns out that the purveyor of the software was shedding higher level/paying users because of bad customer and technical support, so they doubled the price for everyone. A few month later they were gone. I moved on before the fait accompli, but many didn't and got burnt. Beware of ball-and-chain-wear.

Ball-and-chain-wear also carries a large exposure to exchange rate movements/risks, as well. VideoScribe is in the UK. If the exchange rate of the pound turns against non-UK resident VideoScribe subscribers, they will see the price of their subscription go up in their currency. A client in Mexico saw this happen in or around 2012/13. The peso went from 13+ to the dollar to 18+ so the doctor's subscription to his US based EMR went up by about 50% in pesos. A few years later the peso was somewhere around 22 to the dollar--that was the doctor's last renewal, as he then switched to an opensource EMR. Before the switch, the doctor's EMR cost was higher, in pesos, than his local office rent.
