I love so much that this criminally underrated band are finally getting the recognition they truly deserve, more than any other band in rock history imo. There is no band, no act, more consistently creative and imaginative than Sparks, and no musical entity has reinvented themselves more, surpassing even Bowie by a country mile. Bravo Mael brothers, bravo!! Now come to San Diego dammit!!

It is so awesome to see Ron and Russell receive the acknowledgement by audiences in this renaissance of their long and fruitful career in music, they are just phenomenal. Brilliant to see.

I first saw Sparks in Glasgow at the Glasgow Apollo in 1974. Glasgow has always loved Sparks.

I was at the Melbourne show and the Standing Ovation was Fantastic, but Wow this Glasgow Ovation was out of this world, well done to the Glasgow crowd

Hi to all fellow Sparks fans, especially from in & around Glasgow! I just want to let you all know that we’ve just formed a Sparks tribute band & are putting a set of our favourite Sparks songs together to rehearse & gig in & around Glasgow & beyond if anyone asks us. We thought of many names to call the band & we’ve decided on Larks for 3 reasons: 1 - it rhymes with Sparks 2 - it’s going to be fun! 3 - it’s a play on Lanarkshire I would like to gauge what interest there may be from fellow Sparks fans for our project & to ask you if it’s something you would be willing to support when we start gigging, to hopefully know how many folks would want to attend & what venues to consider. I’ll also be posting this same message on other Sparks Glasgow 2023 videos posted on KZbin, so please share & comment so we can gauge interest in our Larks Sparks tribute, which will be totally live with real drums, guitar, bass, keyboards & vocals & will include many of our favourite Sparks hits & album tracks from the 1970s to 2023. Please let me know what songs you would love to hear us play & we may consider playing them, but there are so many great Sparks songs to play, we may not be able to do all of the requests we receive. Hi! Weren't you the one who had these great videos from the 2018 Hippo tour also in Glasgow? I think so, e.g. Suburban Homeboy (when Russell took off his jacket) and Tryouts for the Human Race, which was my favorite. Why did you delete them?

Yes, that's right. I remember your comments about the videos when they were published. Sadly, I had to take them all down, along with all the other music videos on the channel. Can't really expand on the issue here but, needless to say, I was as disappointed as you.
